Sig P320 Paranoia Setting in.

Or a Walther PDP. Or....

How about this one:

I was fondling one at my local gun shop. It was easy to see why people like them so much. It would be on my short list as well. It fit my hand well and pointed very naturally. Maybe I should rent one...

I called Novak to see if they'd build me a custom Hi-Power, the gunsmith legit told me to call back in a few months and ask again 🤣

I have a hard chrome mkIII and really enjoy shooting it. And shoot it better than the Legion, lol.

Saw that video.

The fat guy in the boogaloo shirt states multiple times he had mixed and matched 10mm parts with 9mm parts to get the results he demonstrated. He also mentioned at least once the gun was not "properly assembled".

Even less impressed by the dude with the oversized fiddle in the background.

So if you take your gun apart and put it back together with the wrong parts it will malfunction ?? fucking genius. oh ya SIGS fault.

I wonder if it's possible to mix and match parts from different calibers in Glocks or M&Ps or whatever.

I'm sure you could get some parts to fit in a hole where it shouldn't be even across different manufacturers.

Malfunction, and go bang by itself are two entirely different things. Sig has said for years now that it can’t fire on its own, and some idiot on YouTube proved them wrong with their modular system. They definitely know there is an issue.

Sigs track record of QC isn’t exactly the best… It’s entirely possible for them to have put wrong take down lever, or even have out of spec ones being put in that cause them to go bang , and we’re seeing it happen on video.

Question: Are we talking about P320s that have not had the upgrade from SIG or have had it? My P320 has had the upgrade. I would have thought that almost all of them would have had this upgrade by now but, perhaps, not. Not that I'm going to "test" it at this point, but.... Maybe if they made a dummy round that only burst with a dye or something...

The number of people that ignore recall notices until something breaks is not in the single digits.

If you have a natural tendency to mix parts from different caliber firearms or take a Dremel tool to a sear based on a YT moron, maybe you should consider anther hobby/career.
The issue isn’t that incorrect caliber parts can cause a pistol to fire without a trigger press. One of the issues is that Sig said that the 320s cannot be made to fire without a trigger press, but we have video evidence that they can- albeit with incorrect parts. And that leave open the possibility (and the larger issue) that tolerance stacking with correct parts could cause the same.

Oh, and my 320 is unvaxed.

So they should have said, “Cannot fire without a trigger press unless you use incorrect parts.” That’s right up there with don’t use a hair dryer in the shower.

"You now all of those safety warning labels? They're there because someone did that..." Bill Engvall (Paraphrased)
I bought a set of micro screwdrivers that carried a warning label stating not to insert the screwdriver into your pens. That one really changed how I view people.
