Anyone have experience with this company; quality of suppressors & their customer service? Very little info on internet.
I have a 300blk 10.5" AR 15 that I'll direct thread this can for lightest possible mount. Website states 32db reduction/titanium build/7.8" L/1.5dia/13.1oz/lifetime warranty/retail price $938. How does the performance compare to the Dead Air Nomad 30?
Gander Mountain will be selling this and other suppressors at half price on specific weekends to get out of the suppressor business. I was sold on the DA Nomad 30 - but at $450 for the SL-30, it makes this an attractive deal if it can perform!

Interesting timing on your question. I just picked one up from the wait list last week.

I hadn't really heard of GSL cans so I went and checked them out, and they definitely bear a resemblance. I haven't had time to get out and use it yet, but it looks decently built. I couldn't see anything that would be problematic about it. It does have a decent system for holding a belleville washer on the mounting end of the can. That seems to work fairly well and I don't see how it could work loose.

I would say for $450, I would be interested for sure.

Would love to get an update when you have an opportunity to shoot with it. What caliber will you be using this can for?

I worked and shot competitively with Ed Schoppman (CEO of Silent Legion) for several years when we both were employed by Remington Arms Company at their corporate office in Madison, NC. In fact, he took me to my first USPSA match. Can't speak for the product itself yet, but as I recall, he was heavily engineering minded, a stand up guy and an Army Ranger to boot in the 82nd.

I'd love to try one as I feel a certain level of trust just knowing he's been involved in the product development.

I'm looking forward to it myself. I left on a TDY a short while after I picked it up and haven't had a chance to shoot it. It's actually my only direct thread can and most of my barrels I've torqued a Griffin taper mount brake onto; even my Omega. So I will have to see what I'm going to try it on first. I do have a 6XC that has like a Badger FTE on it I think. I haven't shot it in a while, maybe I'll try it on that. I shoot mostly 6BR, 6x47 and 6XC, so that's what I'll try it on first more than likely. I did take some pics before I left. I'll load them up in a few.

Here's a few pics. It seemed pretty well built to me. I screwed it down on a 5/5"x24 threaded 223 barrel and it was pretty nice. You could distinctly feel the belleville washer crush and then bottom. I calculated the force that the washer is exerting sometime after it first came in to my dealer and I could take some measurements, but I can't find the numbers now. It was a pretty impressive amount and due to the shape of the washer it's all concentric. The welds looked good inside as well.
