This was really my first passion for rifle building..

I built all of these M1A's from GI parts, New SAI receivers and "Freds" walnut stocks.

TRW
Winchester
H&R
Springfield

Also have one old Springfield Garand in the foreground...

Re: Some Old school M1A's

Very nice collection. Gotta love the M1a/M14.

Re: Some Old school M1A's

Thanks for the comments. I really had a blast building these years ago and wish I still had some of them.....

Re: Some Old school M1A's

Yes Sir.....

Seems I do that with everuthing I build. It started with 1911's, then M1A's, Ar's, bolt guns....etc etc....

It seems that if one is good...half dozen is even better.

Re: Some Old school M1A's

If ya buy enough and can start putting em together with matching numbers and parts their worth pretty good money. my buddy at 44mag.com has shit piles of these fuckers and has been able to match a few up. Sure did kick alot of ass with these ol sticks once upon a time! a piece of history right there son!

Re: Some Old school M1A's

love that shorty...is that the tanker version or the airborne one? I'm too lazy to look it up and know very little about them. nice collection!

Re: Some Old school M1A's

It is a tanker...ish.

I built the stock and shortened the barrel to make myself a "truck gun".

Re: Some Old school M1A's

I love the look and feel of wood and steel.
