I actually made this to post on my forum but the I-kam is so neat for filming I thought I would share it here. You can get these to wear and film hunting, fishing, shooting, whatever. I actually bummed these off a toddacguy. I'm ordering a pair tomorrow.
"Prior to installing the Sevigny sights on my G22C, I tried many different sights for my competition pistol. The Internet says after the first shot your front sight is completely black and useless. Well that isn't true. I've dumped a ton of rounds through the 22C and 23C. The front sight post does darken from carbon but is doesn't become completely black. You can even still see the tritium in night sights after several mag dumps. Most times you can simply wipe the soot off. I've also used a dab of bore solvent on a q-tip at the end of heavy range days with good results.
With the Sevighny sights I noticed little to no carbon build up on the front sight post and the red fiber optic stayed bright. I dumped about 70 more rounds out of it before I filmed the below mag dump, just to be sure. Another shooter shot 2 more mags before the day was over with no loss of brightness on the front sight post.
Anyway, this might be a good option for those who run C models for competition."
