I just checked the weather channel site for Twin Falls and they are calling for 20 mph (average) winds both days, and showers on Saturday afternoon... Which forecast are you looking at?

If you have received anything like the rain we have gotten in the southwestern part of Idaho, getting in and out, let alone setting targets may prove challenging.

Re: Southern Idaho Precision Riflemen POLL

Shooting steel at long range can be very satisfying, but it can also be very frustrating when you can’t figure out where the misses are going. Another concern with damp ground or mud is the shooter's or spotters' inability to call the fall of the shot. It is hard to learn much from a shot when you don't have any idea where it went; was the elevation dope off, or was the wind read the problem? At the Parma LRTR match earlier this month there a couple of stages where the conditions (moisture & shadow) made spotting misses challenging. Some guys never figured out where their misses went, even with multiple spotters trying to help. This can be really discouraging, especially for new or relatively inexperienced shooters.

Cheers,
