+1 Steiner. Had two loved them both. Have the 5-25 Military with MSR. I would recommend that one if you're going to learn MIL you might as well learn how to use it effectively and to its' potential. I also had the opportunity to take a peek through one of their hunting scopes and it was truly impressive, that will probably make its' way on my hunting rifle shortly.

I have looked through a few S&B's and they are very nice. I would say that I would not pay the additional money, though. I have got both of my Steiner's for right around $2300. They were demos but not mounted. You should look on the for sale forum here and you will likely find the same. Everyone who looks through my Steiner is very impressed with the clarity as well as contrast. You should also check out tiborasaurus rex's review on youtube of the Steiner Military. He goes through all parameters and the test is much more comprehensive and descriptive than the one you posted. You are getting a German made optic with the finest components and a scope that is usually only compared to the S&B which is 50% more in cost, that tells me the scope is of similar quality at a better price which equals superior value.

I own a Steiner 5-15 military MSR, US optics 5-25 MOA and a Night Force ATACR MOAR, and I have a Tangent Theta 5-25 MOA on order....After looking at all of the scopes including the S& B, I am personally the most impressed with the Tangent Theta. Best combination of glass, illumination, warranty, reticles, and adjustment knobs. The glass between the ATACR and the US Optics is a a toss-up...depends on who is looking through it. I can not personally tell any difference. The Steiner has excellent glass, but the 5-15 is not a fair comparison.....a 5-25 Steiner would be a much better comparison. I run all of these scopes out to 1200 yards in variable conditions, but this in no way means my personal findings are any better than someone else s. Just my personal observations on scopes that I have spent my own hard earned money on.

Ty brother.. hows steiner glass compare to SB to you?il check theta

On a pure glass quality level, the S&B is a touch better than the Steiner, but there is so much more than just glass quality. The illumination control is much better executed on the Steiner, as well as the forever warranty and the cost savings vs the S&B in my opinion. Value for the dollar spent the Steiner easily wins that battle. The Tangent Theta is simply a reworked and improved Premier with a much stronger company backing it. The money and engineering depth of Armament Technology should remove any doubt about the viability of the Tangent Theta scope line, in my opinion.
