I am trying to decide between two stocks, the McMillan A5 and the Manners MCS-T1. I am leaning towards the A5 just because I dont know much about the T1. I am wondering if the T1 might be less solid compared to the A5, as I have held the A5 stock before and it was pretty solid. The gun's purpose will mainly be shooting paper, but it will also be my hog, deer, yote, etc. gun as well. Any input will be greatly appreciated. I'll take this chance to tell you guys what I'll be putting on the stock: Fac. Rem 700 .308 action and barrel off of a SPS Tac, x mark adjustable trigger, Falcon Menace 5x25x50 EMD, BO rings and base, and harris bipod...oh and a varmiter knob from AZPrecision which is a beaut, Keith did a great job! I know its not much, but its a work in progress and im going to shoot the shit out of what I got. Thanks guys
