I'm tossing around the idea of ordering an OBR before I take the marriage plunge as kind of a last bachelor toy. If I do order one, I'm going to be switch hitting scopes between it and a bolt-action, so likely I'll have to go with a QD mount (but initially, it'll be a set of Badgers), probably the OBR mount from LaRue. I plan to get in on the 3-20x50 S&B if/when it comes out.

Naturally, I'm concerned with a comfortable cheek-weld that puts me right behind the glass. I really don't care for the weight of the PRS stocks so that leaves the option of a CTR with RISR if I want more height. Have any of you guys run the CTR w/RISR and LT-111 mount with good comfort? Or should I save my money and carry the extra weight of the PRS? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

That is almost the same setup I run and I love it.

    Thanks for the replies.

That RISR does look like a good option with a LT111 now that' I've seen a scope of a known size on it.

I swapped out the CTR for the PRS. It works well for me. The weight is a non-issue compared with the adjustability in my eyes. Many others seem to use the CTR to good effect as well though.

My RISR sits a little low but you can build it up with a mouse pad or any other foam padding, I plan on sending it off to have cordura sewn onto it with velcro so that I can remove it when I need to. I am using Nightforce rings since they have alot of height options, and I am also swapping my NF scope between rifles. It fits the bolt gun just fine and also sits just a little high, but I already have the bolt gun set up to add foam under my stock pack.

really like your set up chucky. just picked up my sf 762k with the new locking lever. ive had my sf 556k since 2005ish and i really like the new ratchet mount (not that i ever had a problem with the old one)
