    Storming the border gets confrontational! Finally we put up a show of force. What's our message? WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE... at least not ILLEGALLY!!

    OMG. How hard is that to understand?

    Next you'll see the media cherry picking the most dramatic images, mothers and kids crying from the tea gas... rubber bullet wounds... My God what parent would rake their kids through that insanity!? I'm just guessnig here but isn't part of having kids keeping them out of danger and not dragging them into it?

    Trump is the BEST! Finally America stands up from constantly getting it in the ass from every angle and says NO MORE!!

    I'm just going to go out on a limb here and guess you have never worked in any third world countries brother.
    Keeping their kids out of harms way in some of our South of the border neighbors countries would be like trying to have a discussion in Manderin with the locals in southern Louisiana.

    Nope. Thankfully I've not. But I don't get the connection either. In any 3rd world country I doubt any decent mother would intentionally take their kids into situations that had the potential of becoming violent.

    Sadly you would be mistaken, they don't have the helicopter parenting mentality that many in the US seem to think is normal.
    I have seen women and children riding in the back of a pickup going down a dangerous highway in southern Mexico with no one in the front seat but the male driver. Totally different mentality.

    The Mexican government is in a real pickle now. They have to spend money to deport them or house and feed them.. and/or worse deal with the escalating crime and filth. A hispanic friend of mine just text me "Stupid Mexicans --never should have let them in in the first place!"

    Not only did they fail to act when their own southern border was breached but they aided and abbeded in getting them to our southern border. It's ripe mess for everyone now.

    shut the border down, no commerce , not from the south and not from the north, shut the borders now. give the countries neighboring us an economic incentive to control their own borders. For each illegal we catch coming from the south we need to revoke 10 visas of their nationals here. That would hit their corrupt Elites and fix ths shit most rickety quick.

    Enforce e verify here and stop benefits to illegals, jail employers of illegals and shut down companies that hire them.

    Be glad. People, including children are seen as expendable in 3rd world countries. A mother in some places would have no issue giving up their children in a multitude of ways. It is quite sad, really.

    Lol, the communist news network (CNN) had been criticizing the president for sending troops to the border “when migrants were hundreds of miles away and would take weeks to get here” yet literally two-three days later over a thousand arrive in Tiajuana just after our troops reinforced the border.

    MSM fucking lying their asses off trying to destroy this country. All commies paid by Soros and his ilk.

    I agree more can be done. Stronger show of force would be nice. Something that makes nearly everyone of those people think “man, this shit isn’t worth it - I’m going back to my own country” and they start retreating in mass

    $100 says quite a few sneak over tonight or will try. I haven’t seen any portable lights or thermal equipment anywhere yet. All my buddy said that was there was that they had small arms and razor wire which truthfully isn’t much of a deterrent.

    I thought border patrol all used thermals/FLIR in their air units and in vehicles?

    If I were Trump/Mattis I would put a minimum of 10k troops plus armor ASAP and install snipers down there. I would also make an example out of border jumpers (perhaps with those snipers)

    Not all but some. But, they have to be active!!!! Sadly, a show of force is absolutely necessary sometimes and it may be time we use it. These idiots wanting open borders have no idea what kind of security implications this has. If you could insure that every man, woman and child crossing wanted to come here, work hard and assimilate then great, bring them on. However, we know you can’t and few actually fit that bill, not to mention the ones that aren’t even from the south coming over. Funny thing is, last time I was in Canada talking to their border patrol about this I about socked one in the face because according to them, there is just as many crossing over in the north and they are letting them simply because they don’t want to keep them in Canada. Yep. I believe it to. The western part of the northern border between US and Canada is grossly unprotected outside of normal routes.

    Any US citizen found to be behind or supporting this, should be arrested and charged with treason.

    Republicans and Trump need to get their 2020 shit together starting yesterday! Leftist, Globalist, Open border -advocating fucks somehow took the House and almost won (via illegal aliens and blatant election fraud) Senate/Gov. seats in Georgia and Florida. We lost huge here in NV now communists control everything (they will make attempts at gun grabbing starting in Jan)

    Wall must get built and militarization of the southern (and possibly northern) border is necessary. To properly stop this shit, our border needs to look like the 38th parallel. Plus change the law to make border jumping criminal and/or a national security threat. Then we can use lethal force vs catching and warehousing these fuckers for months/years. Plus shoot the smugglers / jumpers before they cross - they are usually visible on the Mex side.

    Why? They had control of everything for two years and could have done something but they didn’t do shit. All they needed for these things they claimed they couldn’t get enough votes on was 51 votes, not 60. They haven’t done much of anything really and I’m not sure I want to give them anymore time with the likes of people like Cortez being voted in. It’s fucking insulting to be honest on many levels. Then again, I don’t think our vote really matters anymore. The whole thing is rigged and I’m not 100% certain Trump isn’t in on the charade. I’ve about come to the conclusion to just watch it burn. If the gun owners would get off their collective asses and come together we might be able to get some shit done.

    Why? So our decent into communism is at least slowed vs a free-fall if they just walk in. So we can get a conservative Supreme Court justice appointed to replace Ginsburg when she dies off (and I can’t wait to enjoy the leftist collective melt-down). Our choices have always been between the lesser of two evils, only now it’s obvious as which choice is “worse”. Cortez was elected by illegals... If trump wins in 2020, her entire voting base gets deported.

    If what you say is true regarding Trump being in on it,”getting off of our asses” = civil war/revolution. I still have some hope for Trump. Certainly can’t say the same about any other president I have seen in my lifetime...

    We can't use real bullets though so rubber bullets may be our only choice. Real bullets use lead which is practically illegal in California. We use them and it will turn the entire area into a toxic wasteland that will cost a bazillion dollars to clean up.

    I do like the super ball rubber bullet ides tho! Kudos for thinking outside the box on that one!

    This is new territory, a test case for all involved. Expect escalation and refinement on all sides.

    It's not over, and not going to be over anytime soon; I expect this issue to outlive me.

    I think I'll check back in a couple of weeks from now while the Winter temperatures, especially at night, continue to drop. It was 30 degrees F this morning at 7:30. I'm 50 miles North of Mexico.

    Might be that the most effective deterrent could be fire hoses on a wide dispersion. Exposure can be a MF'er.
