I have tried the sub loads and the super sonic, which the ladder are more cost effective and the noise signature is still low.

I tried the 240gr SMKs in two different 1 in 8 barrels. They would not stabilize enough in either of my barrels for decent accuracy. I never tried any other bullets that heavy.

I use 9.0 grains of lil-gun under the sierra 240's. Shoot it in a remmy 700 with a 18 inch Shilen select barrel. 9.0 is right on the sonic/subsonic range.
