Surgeon Deer and Hoofed creature slayer

Well I own a few Surgeons and thought to myself, "self, it would be awesome to have a Surgeon for hunting". Well here it is. Crappy cell phone pic but whatevs.

Did this one in 6.5 Creedmore. It has a Bell and Carlson stock and weighs about 8 3/4 lbs. The next rev will be lighter.

Looks great. I'm looking to build something similar in 7mm SAUM, but am looking to come in about a pound lighter.

What barrel taper and length did you go with?

What did you choose for bottom metal?

Looks great. What is the profile and length of the barrel? I am thinking of having them build me one as well in 6.5 creedmoor.

Don't quote but I think its a Remington varmint contour at 22". It has surgeon bottom metal. Next version will be skinny barrel with hinge plate.
