Range Report SW Ammo 300wsm

Pior to the turkey festivities headed to out to shoot and check out some of Sw Ammo's new offering in 300 wsm ammo(190 gn smk in winchester brass)

Rifle is a gap rem 700 with 1/10 twist 22 inch rock barrel.

Ammo functioned quite well with the exception of one round that wouldn't chamber because shoulder was damaged. Went out to 300 yds. Wind was 5-15 mph full value.

Chrony didn't function correctly, perhaps because it was so overcast/spitting rain. Will update this part later.

typical 5 shot 100 yd group follows, maintained that capability out to 300 yds. Will stretch legs and update chrono as able to.

Give me a call or pm. There should be NO rounds with a damaged shoulder. We'll get another box on the way to you, and modify our inspection process.

7 wsm is one of the rounds we want to load for, but it will be well into next year before we do. Next calibers to be released are: 300 Win w/190s and 220s, 408 Cheytac, 260 Remington (again), as soon as we work out the brass supply issue, and possibly, 6.5 Creedmoor. We are planning to have Jamison run us some brass in both 260 and 6.5 Creedmoor. 7wsm will be after those.
