Suppressors TAB silencer cover

Re: TAB silencer cover

Got a couple myself and very happy with them. Tony can also make his TAB cover to work with the can on your rifle also.

Re: TAB silencer cover

Just got mine today. Plan to try it out tomorrow.

I have no doubts.

Re: TAB silencer cover

I don't know why when people think that something is good, they say, "It's the cat's ass!"

As a person who served domestic cats for many years - "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff." - I often awakened from my sleep to find a cat's ass in close proximity to my face. I don't think a cat's ass is a good thing...

Tony's suppressor cover rocks!

hopefully my can will be approved soon and I can finally come get it from you.

Re: TAB silencer cover

I have a couple quick questions if someone could answer. Just got my SAS1 and it is roughly 1 1/2 in. longer than my can and when I velcro it on my can I almost run out of space on the velcro strip because it's overlapping, is this the norm? Also which side goes in the front the end, the large rib or the small?

Re: TAB silencer cover

Hey thanks a lot for all the good reviews and photographs. It's really cool seeing my gear in different places.

TAB GEAR will have it's own website in the near future and I would like to have a photo gallery section. If any one who has posted pictures has a problem with me using their pictures in the new site let me know and I won't use it. Otherwise I'd like to see any pics any of you would care to post for possible use on the site. I'll make a dedicated post about this in the near future too.

We've been really trying to get orders knocked out lately in a timely manner, and having even custom orders in peoples hands just as soon as possible, and I, Lisa, and my production staff all appreciate the nice feedback from everyone.

There has been a few hickups lately too as we've had some serious issues with the USPS and we've lost several hundred dollars in product due to it just disappearing in the postal service black hole. Needless to say this just pisses me off to no end when I've got a customer needing a freaking rifle cover and Elite sling in time to go on an Alaskan Dall Sheep, Caribou, and Moose hunt and his stuff has disappeared with just days left to make a whole other order and having to Express Ship it and hope it shows up. That's just one example of the problems we've been trying to sort out with the USPS.

Mattsnuked, if you'll feel the two ends, one is much thicker than the other end, the thick end is the back of the cover. It is the internal ridge that prevents the cover from sliding forward under recoil and getting shot off the can.

If you install the cover on the can with this ridge behind the back of the can and the cover is not flush with the front of the can, or just barely hanging over the front we have a problem.

Since I don't have your screen name in my data base I can't research what it is you've ordered. Give me a call tomorrow if your cover still isn't fitting properly and we'll get you sorted out. 281 386 9789

There is soooo much of it under my truck, I'm convinced it is actually holding it together.

Dude,

That's down at Thunder Valley in Kimbolton, OH

That Pic is looking at 600 and 1000 yards, he has out to a Mile with a Steel Gong.

It's a fucking blast, Tom Sarver (the owner) posts here, they run a shoot and move steel course at least once a month, it's in the Comp forum.

I prefer the Velcro so I can easily slip it back over the barrel and off the suppressor between strings, lets the can cool a bit.

The slip on has a ridge on both ends that prevents easily sliding it back over the barrel.

Re: TAB silencer cover

This wrap from TAB gear has seen it's share of rounds on my .308 and my .338 Norma Magnum.
I have both styles of covers. My favorite is the velcro.
Especially when one of the other shooters has to remove his can and I slip off the TAB cover to do it for them.
Usually followed by "hey where can I get one of these".

Re: TAB silencer cover

My cover was waiting in my mailboc for me last night when I got home. It is very well made. I can't wait to take my can out and put some rounds through it.

Yep. That's been my experience also with the TAB covers. I have one in OD Green & Coyote.

Only took 18 weeks for the Form 4 to be approved, but I finally can put my cover on my can. Now if only my Atlas would show up it would be like Christmas.
