But he didn’t mention the Achilles heel of on-board weather: solar loading. It didn’t appear that he was even aware of the phenomenon?

As mentioned before, many people will have a kestrel for weather anyway, and you can easily clear the kestrel of solar loading, body heat, whatever by simply spinning it for a very short while.

You can lock the temperature on the Unit to prevent this. I have no idea why you think this is an issue that cannot be overcome.

Same! I have heard $2200 multiple times but haven't seen a confirmed price. I'm waiting on that before I make a decision on it or the Tango
