I was NOT the one who started this topic bitching about what is going on here, someone else did.
I provided them with the best option to stop the problem they were bitching about, which is to shut down the source/location of where the $#!@ takes place. Then, if that $#!@ tries to migrates elsewhere, then kill the source of the cancer before it can grow and spread more.
If you don't want the hard truth, or the real way to solve the problem here, then don't ask for it!

One could always make the Bear Pit & Maggie's be restricted to paying members only (Online training / site subscription), that might let us have a fair bit of fun and keep troll accounts out .
(Unless the Russians and Chinese are willing to pay for each new troll they put on... which could make troll hunting profitable).

Why not just eliminate every sub forum that does not have anything to do with the site's basic theme? Interesting that the sub fourm that has the most to offer, an it's topics fail the most students of the task, is the least visited by the biggest part of the membership. That is telling, but I guess tit's an ass photos, out weights many things.

We had a NO POLITICS rule for years, where none of this was allowed and the site did not suffer any loss of viewers and advertisers are not buying ads based on a single forum section, they buy on SH, most of those ad buyers have never even been on SH. They have no clue what they are buying but stats and our stats by far exceed what you see in the Bear Pit or Maggies.

I have only had a membership to one other site but didn't feel truly at home there like here for the simple fact that when you show what a world class douche you are everyone here will jump in your soft ass with both feet and cleates on.

I think the real answer is for us to police this forum ourselves. When we see something that is obviously fucked up and could bring us grief, report it. Then the onus (anus?) falls to the mods to decide. I see no reason to post stuff like a thread labeled "Faggot Cocksucker" even if it is in French.

My take on it all is that Lowlight and the rest of the SH staff have more important site related things to worry about than having to play babysitter to a bunch of "adults" who can't play nicely without one going crying home to mommy. I been calling this site my home since 2006 and in that time I have been suspended many times. Of all the times I been suspended, only one time was a legit reason. Want to know what the rest of the reasons were? Simply because members whining to Lowlight about me. Not because I'm a spammer or scammer or attacking other members or making terrorist threats or anything like that, but rather simply because certain members didn't like me which is EXACTLY the same mentality the anti-gun crowd has.
