Looking for something else I found this oldie but goodie. Some early testing of the 556 takedown and the DSU. I did 4 cycles of 10 decided to push this one a little more......a little too much
This is how we learn.


Cool thing is 44 mags on a 10.3" and no carbon on my face at all. Those of you that have shot the DSU know how smooth it is. The shooters ear numbers are pretty awesome too.

I don’t have the DSU but I have the 556 Takedown. I thoroughly enjoy it and burning ammo through it. Yeah its heavy but it will take my abuse. And it was quiet for me. Took a deer with it 2 weeks ago and it sounded like a 22LR.
