Does anyone know what the torque specs are for the Tikka T3 action screws? I have this fear of cracking the factory floorplate.

I don't know the specs, but when I first torqued the action screws to 40in-lbs, it ended up tightening the screws a bit, so I'd guess the screws were originally set at 30-35in-lbs. I didn't crack the plastic floorplate at 40in-lbs, but I've backed off the torque to 35in-lbs.

Thanks for the reply. I used 35in-lbs the last time I removed the action from the stock and it seemed to be ok. But I just ordered a Manners T4 and thought I should find out for sure. Thanks again.
