It's Black Friday soon, so I wanted to take advantage of good deals and haven't had time to test some of the larger ammo yet and I was wondering if anyone with Tikka T3's have good success with -

    Spark Munitions - 175gr Tipped SMK's
    FGMM 175gr SMK
    FGMM 185gr Juggs

Goal is to shoot past 1000 for a long range class. Need 400 rounds. FGMM 168's shoot really well out of my rifle, but I haven't tried anything heavier yet.

FWIW, I have a 24" Tac A1 in .308 (same barrel as a CTR?), but it sure liked the FGMM 175gr. With 40 rounds on a new barrel, FGMM gave me a 10 shot .61 moa group over a Magnetospeed. Avg: 2,573 ES:20

Ordered 400, went to class and it performed awesome out to 1K. Never missed due to bullets not going where I aimed.

I tried the heavier FGGM loads in my T3x CTR and neither beat the FGMM 168s for accuracy. The only factory load I tried that was better was the Lapua with 167 Scenars, but I wouldn't want to buy a case of those for a class. $$$

185 jugs preform better than the 175 SMK out of my M10 at 1k. Considerably less wind deflection
