Youve gotta love pitch black and dead silence and all of the sudden..."TINGGGGGG!"

It was definitely fun shooting all suppressors and at night. Makes you wish everyone had a can so you could go all day without muffs.

The targets beyond 570 proved to be very tricky, theyre hard enough to hit during daylight. I ended up with one hit on the 925 target from position one. I believe that was the longest hit of the night. Everyone else was doing great from position 3 on the 570 and closer targets.

Like we talked about last night. I think it can be improved by either same size targets all within 600yds. Or having slightly larger targets at the longer ranges, possibly man sized targets. Also the iridescent paint will be a huge help I think.

I will upload the high quality vid of the full auto firing tonight. I am at work now and dont have access to it. The vid jon posted is still pretty good. I think the only difference would be the sound quality.

Re: TVP Steel Plate SUPPRESSED NIGHT SHOOT 4-18-09

I think I finally found my subsonic load...that trailboss is a tricky little so and so. I think the seating depth is actually the most important factor when dealing with roundnose bullets at low velocity. I first tried seating on the lands (2.713col), then .010" off, and .020" off and my velocity spread for a 3 shot group was from 900-1150fps....unacceptable, that equated to like a 6" elevation change at 100yds.

I finally seated the bullet way down to 2.665 and am getting 1070fps +-20 and ~1moa at 100yds. I might try going even further with the depth and see if it gets better, but this is a major improvement over my first attempt.

I just dont want to waste all my primers right now when I dont even have the can yet.
