So yesterday, the Walmart corporate Twitter feed put out this gem:

1609513030291.png

They, of course, blame it on some rogue employee. Deleted it. Not before millions had seen it. And naturally, re-tweeted and captured it.

Ok... Rogue Employee. Fine. Fire that employee and every single manager in that person's chain of command up to and including the CEO for tolerating such behavior to evolve in a business. Name them all when firing them. And issue a public apology to EVERY American for sticking your nose into American Politics.

I'll go further. Eliminate your government relations department. Suspend all political donations. Close your K-Street lobbying efforts. And your state Lobbying efforts. Start competing on a level playing field against the local store that doesn't have billions in Chinese profits to throw around to gain an advantage.

Otherwise, it's time for America to wake up and realize that these people are China's Camels Nose under the tent. Destroying our economy (along with Amazon) more effectively than Corona. With cheap chinese junk and credit-addicted shoppers who will sell their souls for in inflatable Santa for $9.97 and a three cent price drop.

Stop shopping there. Until they show that they are NOT using your money to tip the scales towards socialism. Where they will be the crony retailer that will control what you get. What you can have. And when you can have it.

Buy American. Stop buying from socialists and companies that employ them, enable them and give them a voice.

Is the Santa still available? I used to use craftsman wrenches because of the life time warranty and you could find them anywhere. They are now made in china. And they want full price for them.

Theyre selling the wrong inflatables. This photo of 1J04 shows what they need to stock.

I boycotted Wal-Mart long ago for their destruction of American business in order to enrich themselves and China.

Unfortunately too many don't care about anything but cheap made in china garbage and convenience.
Even on here, plenty of folks are happy to run to walmart for any discount, deal or sale.

i have never shopped at walmart and never will.

although i am a fucking poor, i put my principles above price.

watch the High Cost of Low Prices and see how walmart is destroying small businesses and entire towns.

And not just here.

I have friends in a smaller city in northern Mexico. When Wally Zoo showed up about half the mom and pop small business's went under.

What I found amazing is that 25 years ago when a quart of Gatorade was $1.40 here in the states the same quart, made in the same plant in the USA, was $00.25 on a beach in remote Mexico. WTF???

Its capitalism at its finest you drive your competition out of business to make more money if you didn't then you would be against capitalism.

There was a time when Libtards like NPR and their lemming followers were all anti-Walmart. "Oh, it's killing main street..." for years in the 1990's. Protests. They don't treat their workers well. They persecute homo employees. They are killing America.

Now they are woke. They are so dreamy. They are putting those evil Independent businesses in their place. They are the future. They are so green and gave a hundred million dollars to Black Lives Matter. Wal Mart is Dreamy.

They have now gone from "Destroyer of Main Street USA" to "THe weapon that will be used to put Mom and Pop... those evil Independent Small Business Owners" in their place. In other words. On welfare. And dependant. And quiet.

In Russia in the 1920's, they just killed all the small business owners. If they didn't flee.

Here they are going to crush them under the boot of woke before killing them.

That's why the wokes now LOVE Walmart. They have infiltrated it. Made it into China's giant cash generator. Used it to enslave people to credit card debt. And spread the profits to buy Thousands of legislators around the country. Who are for sale cheap... and have a WalMart or 10 in every district. They are using your money against you.

Crony capitalism. This is exactly how it works.

Walmart shoppers have zero clue (or interest) in such topics. IF they vote, it's for candidates endorsed by whatever talking head they listen to. This is where we get all the entertaining videos of supporters answering bogus questions.
^^^^^^^This. And just type people of Walmart in the youtube search box and you will see why the predictions of our childhood are not possible. Would you trust those people in flying cars?
Readily available knowledge, a (cough cough) smart phone in every hand, was supposed to improve society.

i think you'd be surprised how many forum members shop there, although it may be due to having nowhere else to go.
if you need .22lr ammo and live in a small town, there is no more hardware store, or small gun store...they were all driven out of business.

fuck walmart, but i am not judging anyone.

I look at Wal-Mart last for anything and seldom since they quit selling AR-15's. Especially since they pulled AR and Pistol caliber ammunition I have only been in their store 4 times for any reason. My family alone spent many thousands per year from my salary there previously. My wife had a good job there for about a decade and they pushed everyone to part time. Managers have to swing shift, so no family option. We should have a giant bag of dicks forwarded to thier CEO and I hope they go bust. Business will eventually return afterwards. Hardware, auto stores, and especially sporting goods. 10 years ago in WV the Wal-Marts had great sporting goods sections. Now the rods/reels are all chinese Shit and they don't sell a scope I'd hunt groundhogs with at close range with any options. Sam Walton is spinning in his grave. Rant off. Happy New Year!

Misdirect anger against the companies and Chinese products, our political system made this all possible and promoted it. Remember that little sticker they gave you when you pulled the lever " I Voted " thats to remind you that its your fault for their misdeeds .

if you need .22lr ammo and live in a small town, there is no more hardware store, or small gun store...they were all driven out of business.

They were driven out of business because the locals including the local city government were stupid fools and were willing to sell out not only their fellow citizens but even themselves for a short term temporary slight discount or promises of "revenue"...

The local city governments were complicit in letting Walmart do what they prohibited their local hometown businesses from doing because they got stars in their eyes about "revenue" and "growth", and then making excuses when all they get is poverty and crime.

The local citizens were a bunch of cheap price whores and were seduced by temporary slightly lower prices, usually below actual cost as walmart did their drug dealer strategy of running their competition out of business by absorbing losses till everyone else goes broke and then hiking prices when they are the monopoly.

Then the citizens complain when them and their children have no local job options except being one of the few oppressed walmart slaves.
They wonder why their town is falling apart and sliding into poverty and crime while the rich get richer.

this is true, but not everyone abandoned the family hardware stores.
there were some patriots and smart folks that didn't care if they could save a few bucks. they were loyal, but lost to walmart anyway.
that's all i am saying. it is too easy for me to judge when i have not been put in that position.
i would drive a long way to avoid walmart if i had to, but i am not struggling to buy diapers and milk either.

right, and it isn't just mom and pop stores but popular chains like Radio Shack, Toys R Us and other specialty stores.

Not true when they are buying policies that favor them.

Bullshit, ever hear of NAFTA?
Ever hear who shitcanned the one sided deal?
Did lobbyists get invented in the last 4 years?
"American capitalism" is a moniker that was given by those who've sold out, namely
Establishment Rs and Ds.
BTW, name me another guy whose lost a billion trying to help his country while in office in your lifetime.
Also who refused to accept the pay for said job.

you really mean to tell me a Multi-Billion dollar company hands complete control over its social media over to one lowly intern...and nothing needs to get checked or approved before its sent?....

i call bullshit....complete and utter bullshit.

Walmart is just mad because they are attacking their golden cow, who is a lapdog of communist china....the place where they get all of their cheap shit.

When they built the Wal-Mart in Salem IL the rednecks all went there and walked around because they had free air-conditioning!
we used ride our bikes to the indoor shopping mall on hot summer days.

woolworths is rather older than Walmart. And I believe it's gone out of business. I dunno, I don't live in the UK. I'm an American.

I guess Forbes makes shit up.
The above was a list of things I've witnessed.
Whether or not it is defending him or not has no bearing on the veracity.
Deflection isn't a successful tactic, as you also are resorting to insult the hilarity
of you calling me a liberal is ironic.
You also glazed over other points you can't refute.
In short, laughing.

that is what i mean. when i lived there (wales mostly) there was one on almost every high street.
they were not, imho, like walmart, who constantly demands lower prices from suppliers so that if they aren't already making the product with offshore cheap labor, they have to or will lose the business to a cheaper (wholesale) product that is made elsewhere.
i can only say this because i have seen it, although the labor was moved to mexico before the business was lost to the chinamas.

Forbes seems to disagree...

also, last i checked, Trump never used his position in govt to enrich himself....trump never drone struck american citizens....trump never armed terrorists......trump never imprisoned reporters......trump never weapoized the IRS against political opponnents.

so why cant we defend him again?

at least we have grounds to defend the man, unlike obama supporters.

I shop at Walmart once a year to remind me why I don’t shop at Walmart. I really, really hope they are depending on my $19.99 (pre sales tax) purchase in 2021 to stay in business.

This is just funny. The revenues of Trump Intl and his hotels from foreign and corporate 'events' is akin to the Clinton Foundation... If you think that's coincidence then good for you. And that's just one example. Then there's the 'loans' from Saudi to Kushner's otherwise poor real estate investments that effectively saved his daddy's company... and then the few million from the COVID relief bill that strangely they qualified for... the close to $250M he's spent on GOLFING at his own resorts and then the push for having the G7 at his own resorts... But no, he's lost money, poor lamb...

trump never drone struck american citizens....
Not that you know of...., but then there are the tens of thousands to maybe over 100K that died from COVID because he wanted to protext the economy and avoid a panic...

trump never armed terrorists......trump never imprisoned reporters
The US has a looong history of arming bad guys when they want to kill other bad guys we want dead. And again, this is not an administration that has any transparency so who knows. He cleared protestors for a photo op like a tin pot tyrant.

Which President has killed reports?

......trump never weapoized the IRS against political opponnents.
No, but he's weaponized the DOJ and totally corrupted it to the point where neither it or the office of the AG is worth a damn.

so why cant we defend him again?
You can, you just shouldn't is all.

at least we have grounds to defend the man, unlike obama supporters.
I'm sure they feel the same due to their same lack of acceptance of facts that don't conform to their narrative. You know, 'alternative facts'...

The TDS is strong in you. There's plenty to not like about him personally or his actions (inactions) as president, but you've lost your mind with this drivel.

Fuck chinamart, but if they start stocking rem sts shells for <$8 a box again, I'll buy all I can get.

Edit: Quote didn't work for some reason.

I may well have lost my mind. I won't argue against that too strongly but it's more from watching a slow car wreck that could easily have been avoided. And it is drivel, but it's still real, so hence, losing of mind.

last time I was in a Walmart was to get a hunting license some years ago. Good times..

I‘ve boycotted Wally World for over 20 years.
Only one I went to was on a fly fishing boondoggle where it was the only place open late - much of the town had been boarded up.

Damn dude, generalize much?

In my town of 190 I have no stores outside of dollar general. I have to drive 45 min to buy groceries, where? Walmart. Do I want to? No, but I have to. I would gladly shop at Whole Foods or fresh market, he’ll even Safeway.

I’m a Die hard constitutional conservative and so is my family. Just because we have to shop at Walmart doesn’t make us political lemmings or sub-human trash or something.

The sub-human trash walks around Wallyworld with their pants down around their knees, their extra 200 pounds hanging like a fat Plumber’s crack, smoking and standing in the way, oblivious to everyone behind them, while trying to find their Wic, Twix, Stix or whatever in the hell they call welfare now, debit card. While momma with the ten thousand over-inked tramp stamps and four half-naked and inbred 29 times rugrats, pulls the Welfare card out from between the twin cylinders called tits, that hang to her knees, all while the smallest street urchin cries “Titty Mommy?” Looking for breakfast. There are many photos of the hell that is Wallyworld available on the google. NC, W.Va. And Kentucky have some of the best. White Trash beats black trash and illegal trash every time. Save your sanity, avoid the place.

I only buy motor oil for one car there...soon to be I'll just get it from O'Reilly or order it from somebody else.

I stopped shopping at walmart when they stopped stocking the tula 9mm they sold for $7.97/box.

Man... I wish that was still available.

I grew up in the city in Ohio. We had Murphy's Mart, Montgomery Ward, Woolworth's, Hill's, K-Mart, Sear's and Penny's in the 70's and 80's. In the late 80's I came to Norfolk, we had them and Rose's. Slowly Walmart nd Target came in as the new stores. 30 years of mismanagement killed most of the big chains.

Sear's should have become Amazon, the biggest catalog store in the world missed the internet. K-Mart got out of bankruptcy when they bought a bankrupt Sear's because Sear's was worth more in real estate than they were as a business. Montgomery Wards and Woolworth were losing money to Sear's and Penny's. Oh, Toy's R Us, I bet you think I forgot about them. They had more Chinese made knock off brands than real brands, not to mention over expanding to Baby's R US and Kid's R Us to try to corner a market in clothes and furniture.

There aren't many Mom and Pop shops left but how many rifles on this forum and the ammo for them comes out of the local Mom and Pop?
