I have plans of living my life out peaceably. It would be really nice if i could. Enjoy watching my children form and raise their families. I really prefer that. But if the future is watching my children enslaved and their children slaves....FUCK it. If i have to piss it away, ima gonna get my money’s worth.
i am continuing to place my faith in HIS plan, he is running it all anyway. Until it’s nut-cutting time...i am going to try to live up to his expectations.
I live in Virginia. I financially supported my local candidates, volunteered for them, and handed out Republican sample ballots at the polls on election day, all to no avail. The blue Northern VA suburbs now outnumber the rest of the state.
The proposals our Gov put on the table last summer included "high capacity magazine" bans and also "assault weapon" bans with NO GRANDFATHER CLAUSE and NO BUY BACK. You could destroy them, move them out of state or turn them into the police for ZERO money. Of course the "assault weapon" definition was broad enough to capture most semi-automatic pistols and rifles. They also want to ban suppressors, add red flag laws, waiting periods, limit CCW reciprocity, allow local municipalities to pass whatever restrictions they like, etc....the whole damn laundry list of stupid ideas.
I don't know if the above will be passed, but I've already started looking at properties outside of Virginia. I'm taking my successful business along with its tax revenue to another state. If Virginia won't respect my rights I'm leaving and I won't be coming back.

Id put together a large group of people, surely you have some local gun groups, and then I’d march on his office, armed. This is what needs to happen to remind these people that we aren’t subjects to be ruled over. They work for us and they seem to forget that. Most of the people in cities don’t have a fucking clue, many of them vote just to feel good about voting when they really have no idea why they are voting for a certain person. I’d doubt very seriously that the majority of VA supports gun confiscations.
This bullshit in VA also should be challenged in court, all the way to SCOTUS, if necessary.

If I had to be at work right now I wouldn't be rabble-rousing on the internet. What I have on my plate at the moment is my own business, but it can't pile on forever and should be resolved before too long. If that's a dig on me for not going to the DC rally then I'll have you know that making that rally was personally prioritized below a funeral service for a close family member, a funeral which itself failed to be prioritized at the top of the list given other obligations I currently have. You can imagine if I didn't even make it to that event due to other bullshit then I'm not going to worry about excusing myself from the DC rally. I do regret I could not make it all the same.
How about all you guys in the red areas call your county commissioners, get to work on 2nd Amendment sanctuary resolutions, make sure the Sheriff's Office for your county is on board because they will most likely be the one's tasked with kicking doors. I'm in NC and not waiting around for this shit to happen here, our counties are not any better.

Just a statement about the excuses all of us, myself included, have made thus far for not engaging in the sort of civil disobedience being advocated above.

The VCDL email I got seems like they've broken moment of inertia on the issue and are coordinating to push the legislation back. Hopefully they can also undermine a lot of the man behind the curtain policy pushing that led to such a division in the first place.

The county by county separation from a tyrannical state ran by a few cities full of liberal Democrats is a good option.
As the new state is formed and recognized we should have enough representation to straighten out DC.
