My outing this past Saturday with the Savage 10 .308 and 175smk's at the 700 yard line. There is a bit of mirage there, but not as bad as there was at 1000 when the sun came out.

What savage? more data on the load?
I have the savage 10 FCP-k. I haven't done any of my own loads of the 175SMK's but I did get some Buffalo-bore match stuff with the 175's. I think I liked them over the 168's, but 500 yards was my first rodeo when I shot them, and I used up all my 168gr stuff trying to figure out bullet drop/drift at that distance. Once I realized what I was doing I was able to make a 3" 4-round group with the 175's at 500. They just felt better to me.
I currently have varget, cci primers, and hornady brass to work with but would be interested in what you are running. Thanks for the video!

It's a Savage 10 action, mcgowen 20" stainless match 1:10 twist, B&C medalist stock bedded.

The load is 44.8gr varget, CCI 200 primers, Lapua brass, and seated to 2.800" COL.

The load shoots very well, stays in the 1/2moa range, and I haven't started to mess with the COL yet. I wanted a mag length load. I gotten a lot of groups that are quite small with this same load but for the most part it's 1/2moa.
