I was in the Marine Corps from 2004-2008, and served the latter part of my enlistment with 3/7 STA plt. I was medically retired from the Corps in 2008 due to injuries received in combat. I have since been married and going to college, working silly part time jobs, and spending every last dime I have buying parts, trading parts, shopping, bartering, etc to build the perfect rifle (for me). I think I am finally there. Keep in mind though, everything I have is used. I have never had anything brand new.

I'm taking it out to the range today and I'll let you know how she shoots.

Keep your head up and goals high,

Right on - and noth ing wrong witih "Used".

I have a 1980 VW Scirocco, used - cherry now

I still drive a 1996 Nissan pickup truck, used of course.

Some things are better to keep used, some new stuff is not worth having either!

Re: What a poor student can do...

Spend a couple more decades on the planet and you'll look even more "used," even if your rifle doesn't. And there's nothing wrong with used -- just think of a good pair of jeans or boots at their prime. Enjoy and post an aar.

Re: What a poor student can do...

Nice.

I've put lots of things together from "used" stuff. Most of the time, especially in this game, used means something that someone is upgrading from, got tired of, or just couldn't afford to keep anymore. I've never bouoght anything used off the hide, or from a friend that was not in great shape.

Good luck

Thank You for your service to my Family and the Country that we love!

Every single one of them are "used" after the first shot, don't sweat that stuff.

Great stick, almost identical to a 7WSM I have, and it is used. Often.

Not a problem at all. I was glad to do it.
