Fascism is used every day by everyone, mostly by politicians, and especially lately. What does Fascism really mean, and why is this term being used all the time?
Well, story short, its Italian, first used to describe Mussolini's mission in the early 1900's. And I quote:

TIK has some of the best videos on that period. There's a bunch of disagreement even between subject matter experts which I think is somewhat influenced by the modern day need to argue which party is closer to hitler.

Most people that toss "fascism" around don't have any understanding past: nazi=bad and nazi=fascism, therefore people I don't like=fascist. Lots of the elements of fascism aren't even unique to it. The specific nazi ideology isn't even required for fascism, it's just the famous historical example.

I tend to agree with this but the lines are blurry and there is much overlap in the overall political structures. In modern times states tend to adopt elements from all the different structures, in varying degrees.

#4 is comical; true MAGA doesn't give a shit about identity politics and promotes individualism. Issue is equating "citizenship" to "ethno-nationalism". Attacking MAGA ideology, the "MAGA" term specifically and demonizing the movement was nothing more than a predictable way to maintain certain power structure and with it the flow of $$$. I'd say the USA is by far the most ethnically diverse country on the planet. Its not the defining characteristic. Trump called for his supporters to assault a dissenter at a Trump rally…sounds like violent suppression of opposition to me. Also, his traitorous interview this morning wherein he referred to half the citizenry of the US as “evil”. He will literally be the cause of the next civil war.
