A new one in .50BMG from the factory is running about $9k. Gun Broker tends to be retarded with fuckheads "who know what they gots". But you can get a similar one for about $6k. I'd say $5k is winning, but these things tend to be safe queens for most people, so unless it's a burning desire it should be a really good deal.

Around the $9k mark would be a decent price if it's essentially new and you actually wanted that specific rifle and that specific scope and their sighting system add on.
But if you are getting it for grins and giggles just because it's a deal, well the economy isn't doing well, folks will soon have to sell their expensive toys for what they can get, it's not an easy item to resell because of limited demand.
So if that's the case, $6k or around that is more of the kind of Hebrew deal you want to try to get.
If the seller wants over $10k for it, well I'd simply just let them sit on it for a year or such and then circle back and see what they say.

I'd want to let a lot of other folks have fun testing out new sub $3k semi-auto .50BMGs before I would be comfortable touching one.
It appears to have the Barrett / Leupold BORS ranging system on it. So that's a plus - that ran between $1500 and $2000 new. I pretty much agree with what everyone else has said - Barrett 50's don't bring what they used to and they are somewhat hard to move.
So - for me - between $6000 and $7000 for the gun ( new they are running $13,000-ish )and $750 to $1000 added for the BORS system.
I'm sure they are probably asking $11 to $12-ish. At that point I'd pass.

That, and that fact that .50s and/or .338LMs aren’t even really sporting out to 1250 yards (which is as far as my club goes), it’s kinda boring at that range with those things honestly.

Here is my response to that.
There is a difference if all you want out of your shooting is for your bullet to make a hole in a piece of paper or a splash or ding against a metal target at a certain distance, compared to someone who wants the bullet to be able to do useful work at that same distance.
.50bmg and .338LM were originally designed to do "useful work" at a distance, and because of their energy properties folks later also found out they could go pretty far for target shooting once you put in some bullets designed for going long distances.
But if it's strictly target shooting, there are more efficient, cheaper or easier options.
Just so you know, it's probably a 3 moa rifle with the best ammo you can get (which will likely cost $6/ round). I have some experience with these things. I probably shot a dozen different rifles. Carried them for miles at times. I absolutely hate them. If the apocalypse happens tomorrow or some large army invades America, you'll be happy to have it as long as you have invested $10k in ammo for it. They are an anti-material rifle, not meant for precision shooting. Most of them shoot about 5moa with mil spec ammo, but I've seen a few that couldn't even do that.
If I had a nickel for every moron claiming I sold them a used firearm as new because there’s carbon the barrel, and I had to explain test firing, then they tell me the factory would definitely clean every firearm after doing so leaving me staring at them like a moron I’d be rich as fuck.
I had way more people than you’d imagine claim a firearm just placed on display within a day or so should be sold as used because people handled it and there’s zero wear or scratches.

Some years ago I sold a collectable H&K pistol to a guy.
I decided to be nice and clean it all up perfectly like never been touched before for him.
(the guy was actually worried about specs of lint in the pictures).
Guy gets the pistol and then later on proceeds to send me a crazy, rambling, hyperventilating message about how I sold him a pistol with a barrel that was completely worn smooth and had no rifling.
I replied back that it's a Polygon German uber barrel with a perfect finish and cleaned to perfection.
I told him to stop whining, go shoot a box of ammo through it and then look down the barrel and he'll see all the nice "rifling patterns" in soot that he is expecting.
I didn't hear back from him after that...
