Gunsmithing What would cause,

a fired case to fit in the chamber one way but turn it 180* and it won't fit? Did a chamber cast and all looks to be good. Action is a mauser, rebarreled to 22/6mm.

chamber is not concentric

I can't see that on the chamber cast or the cases don't look bulged.

Check the runout on the chamber cast.

Its .005 on the middle of the neck. Most all cases run the same with a few at .009

I had this on an AR barrel In my case the chamber was cut "out of round". Worst part was no good way to fix in my situation, if it was a bolt gun I might have had the chamber cut off and recut
