Where Can I Buy a Brain?

I was installing a super sabre long bow trigger in my Tavor today. I was using a video as a guide, since the Tavor's manual doesn't even list the trigger as a part. Anyway, the video says to drift the trigger cross pin out, so I pause the video and do so. I move the gun from the bench block to a stand on my workbench. Then I notice the trigger spring is missing. I literally spend the next hour on my hands and knees searching for the spring. I am about to give up and order a new spring when I finally find it. I get up, start the video, and the guy says " remove the trigger, you can put the spring aside, you won't need it".

Been there done that! I went to an archery 3D competition earlier this year. Hour drive away from home. Paid my registration and didn’t realize I had forgotten my arrows until I was at the 1st target and ready to shoot. The guys still ride me about that.

I left a bag with ammo and three pistols in it sitting on a bench at the range. I made it home before noticing, range was closed by that time. Called the next morning and they had it and said they knew someone would be calling.

Did that once only I had a pair of 10x56 Zeiss Victory binos in the bag. Fortunately the same thing happened. They knew me and one of the range officers took care of it for me until I got back there the next day they were open. I was very great full to say the least.

If I ever clean out my shop, I'll find enough parts to build a 1911 and an AR.
