Which 2 Stage Trigger for my GA-Precision Hospitaller with Templar V-II Action?

I have a GA-Precision Hospitaller in 308 caliber with the Templar V-II Action that I would like to find a High Quality 2 Stage Match Trigger to replace the Single Stage Trigger. The Single Stage Trigger in it now is way too light and I actually prefer the 2 Stage model.

Its been a real long time since I owned a Bolt Action GAP Rifle and I can't remember the 2 Stage Trigger that I swapped in my old Crusader? I think it was a Huber 2 Stage Trigger but not 100% sure?

Which 2 Stage Trigger would be Best for my GAP Hospitaller? And do they consider the Templar V-II Action the same as a Remington 700 Action?

I have several of the timney two stages and really like them. They feel comparable to the two stage triggers on AIs.

Yeah, the two top would be from either Trigger Tech ( the Diamond) or from Bix’n Andi (TacSport Pro X). The TT gives a precise trigger pull and agjustments to pull weight. The BnA gives you addition adjustments in length of trigger movement and over travel as well as sear engagement. TT probably has the most shooters but BnA is very popular. I switched to BnA as I like a bit of trigger travel to aid follow through, it just feels more alive. The TT I perfect trigger if you want a Perfect trigger break with no over travel.

Yes, your action is essentially considered an R700 when you buy a trigger. Any trigger designed for an R700 should theoretically fit.

A popular 2 stage is the Trigger Tech. The 2 stage Special would likely work for you. You can adjust stage pull weights, the breaks are crisp. There is no over travel (preference - I like over travel, others here don't). The OEM trigger blade is pretty wide, and I don't think you can change it. Sear engagement is what it is - if it's too much, you need to get your trigger "timed".

If you like to tinker, I prefer the BnA TacSport. You can not only adjust the pull weights of each stage, but I believe the travel of the stages, along with the amount of sear engagement. It does have over travel (trigger still moves slightly after it breaks), which I prefer. You can also change out the trigger blade for a variety of different options from BnA, but I happen to like the stock thin curved one. You can really dial this trigger in to feel and function like you want, but you have to be okay with some tinkering.

Thanks guys for all of the input, I really appreciate it. I think I like the Trigger Tech Diamond 2 Stage Trigger but it looks like they will not be available until September, same with the TT Special version.

I will do more research or look for a used TT Diamond that may pop up on the board.

Now it says Rem 700 Clone Flat Clean whatever that means??? Will this one work in my Hospitaller? I like the Flat Trigger as well.

Flat is the trigger shoe shape. I'm not exactly sure what the "clean" means.

But you should be GTG.
