Back in 2015 I put together this G28 clone from an MR762. It was fantastic for a few years, then one day it started shooting pretty wild to one side unexpectedly. At 400m (3mph wind) I had to hold about 8mils to the side, which is completely nuts. I brought it home, stripped it down, gave it a good cleaning, remounted and torqued the scope mount and rings. The next trip out it did the same thing...consistently. I brought a variety of handloads and factory ammo to test and they all were showing an extreme lateral shift in POI. I even removed the scope and tested the irons at 100m and the shift was still there. I briefly talked to HK USA and it sounded like they wouldn't do much other than replace some springs.
So it's been stuck in the safe for a while and now I'd like to send it out to a shop to help diagnose what's wrong. Can anyone recommend a shop that works on MR762s?
