Why does this new Modified Tubb/Redding 6xc Competition seater denting my bullets?

OK, when I seated some of my 6 Creed bullets(105 AMP HPBTs) the other morning I noticed the jackets were dented not to mention the shells were very hard to extract from the die, and noticed I could seat the bullets only so far, 2.808" for the Hybrids, 2.803" for the AMPs. I then seated some of the rounds with my Hornady seater with no issues, no denting, easy extraction. Whats up?

Neck of cartridge bottoming out on the die?

Compressing the shit out of the powder?

You mean the die is putting a crimp on the case? There is no crimp built into this die and I hardly have that much powder in the case(41.6grs H4350). I shot the rounds already so no pics unless I loaded more, plus I can only seat my bullets just so far, the micrometer top is maxed out.But it does take the one 115DTAC I have right to what Tubb uses for an OAL of 2.750" in his 6XC.

I just meant maybe the brass is bottoming out in the die. Did you try just running an empty piece of brass into the die ( no powder, primer, bullet?) to see if maybe the brass is hitting somewhere in there? How about pull the die out and hold it upside down and push a piece of brass in to see if you feel any resistance or bottom out prematurely?

Yup I tried that, shoulder of the case is hitting the shoulder in the die, everything looks fine. Im baffled cuz my Hornady seater works like a charm, this 150 buck die doesnt work. If Im doing something wrong maybe Ill find out tomorrow when I call SSS.
