Has anyone heard anymore information on this?
I'm curious as to what exactly he was carrying, and was it a defect of the gun or was it operator error that caused the gun to misfire.
This is pure speculation, but I suspect unfortunately he just didn't have the safety on.
If it was a defect of the gun, especially one without a traditional safety, then that's when I would like to find more information. I like to carry my Springfield XD 45 and would hate to injure someone because of a misfire.
