They won the Gold Medal in the 2010 US Juniors Hockey tournament. They defeated team Canada in overtime 6-5.

Well with the USSR...er Russia, no longer in the picture. If it wasn't for the US there would be no competition in either mens or womens hockey.

Can't overlook Sweden and Finland.

One of the best NHL games I've seen live was the Islanders and Canucks in Vancouver in 1994. I was loving life..every bar we went into had a hockey game on. Vancouver in general is an incredible city.

The US team was incredible! The Canadian team was good but the better team won. The Olympics should be interesting for sure. Did you guys see the Swiss team that beat the Russians! OMG!!!!!
