I agree with you 99%, the only thing about your statement I dont agree on is what you said about dual citizenship. Now if you in fact do have an American passport in your possession you can verify this information. The newer E-Passports have them on page 7 Important Information, paragraph 14 Dual Citizenship. In that paragraph it clearly states that any American can retain dual citizenship...
