Folks when using the Vortex EBR 2 b reticle (or nay open reticle like the NH1 etc.) is it best to align your zero with the tip of the 6 o'clock post or do you try and acheive a zero in the middle of the .07 milrad gap at the center of the cross hair on the ebr 2b.

Is their a printable target that best suits these open style reticle's ? say one with a .07 mil bull that you can "bracket" ?

Zero is pretty much always where the stadia intersect.
Diamond targets will help with an open center reticle as the stadia can be lined up with the corners of the diamond.

I shoot the EBR-2B reticle. At 100yds, being able to physically hold the difference between the open center and the top of the post is crazy.....and I consider myself a decent shooter. On 20x magnification at 100yds, a black dot the size of a pencil eraser is way bigger than the open center. The difference in the center and the tip of the bottom post is virtually nothing.

I use the center as well. At 100 yards I am usually using lower magnification and with my eyes I see a normal crosshair...but using the higher mag. I focus on center.
