Hey all, I searched for this topic and saw it was broached in another thread. I think it warrants its own thread.
There have been a number of incidents surrounding a particular lot of 7.62x51 ball ammo branded ZSR M80. Possible case overpressure/ case head failure condition. The drama so far seems to be surrounding Lot 015 of this ammo.
To my knowledge there has not been any comprehensive testing of this lot no. to confirm QC issues with the ammo. The evidence thus far is at least enough to raise an eyebrow. I would encourage due diligence if you have any of this particular ammo in your stores.
