I've been living in the land of prefits for my Zermatt actions. I have access to a reamer and a barrel that I'd like to get chambered and threaded. Don't mind sending my action in if it makes it that much better.

Looking for recommendations on someone trustworthy that would do a good job dialing it in and cutting it. Wait time isn't super crucial but I've been quoted 8 weeks by a couple. Price isn't the determining factor but I've seen some that are quite high IMO. I don't have anyone local that's worth a crap so I've all but decided to ship it all out. not smart enough to contribute much, but you folks always point me I the right direction.

Had a weird day at the range today. Lower end of my “node” if you believe in such things on this charge weight. I couldn’t recall if I had done load dev on this rifle with my supressor or not. So I backed it down .2 gr (6 creed, Lapua brass, 105’s) guessing that keeps similar speeds as unsupressed. I took bad notes, I know.

Hit my original great loads FPS, but rifle was walking all over the place. Decided to just kinda burn it down with 15 rounds on a hot barrel…result was just a hammer, all touching, one ragged hole.

Did the hot barrel increase speed and get back what the rifle likes with the can on? Was considering bumping back up .2 and .4 and seeing the results.

Jsut curious any theories behind why it only wanted to group when hot? I did put the chrono to it. Load dev (pretty sure unsupressed) was 2985…suppressed now and backed off .2gr was 2985, but it didn’t want to group cold to luke warm.

Fantastic pistol, just does not get shot enough, and I need to put all my time into my carry optics gun if I ever plan to improve there. Has some wear on the cerakote (photo pointing at area of wear due to the atlas thumb rest). Functions great, mags lock back, feeds well. It is a great platform and stealth arms knocked it out of the park. Prickle grip doesn't tear you up (This is not the extra aggressive option), but grips hard. If you have any questions please ask.

With all the prs bashing that a person hears from time to time, it’s always nice when it can be so easily shown to be wrong. Ken Wheeler brought a new shooter to a match and loaned him all his gear. He helped the entire match, giving instructions and advice. It wasn’t even a PRS match, but an NRL22 match. He’s just a good dude like most shooters that enjoy this stuff.

New Savage 6MM Creed. Cleaned before and after shooting 2 rounds and it's still there. What are your thoughts? The rest of the barrel is spotless. I don't think its copper.

Had some magazine issues and some gas issues got them all sorted this weekend.
Dura mags seem to feed the best after some attention is paid to feed lips .
One out of 3 ASC mags has been 100% the other two are going in the trash .
Anyhow pleased with how it tuned out .
The bic lighter is 3 inches for reference.

I know it's a few years old, but it is so good. The wife and I actually got emotional watching it. Just to see something so full of joy.

I’m a retired sr officer with strong opinions on what makes a good General Officer.

I have approx 20 cases that have a belling on the lip. While I am still trying to figure out the cause (likely too long case size or too much neck tension from what I read), is there a way to fix these cases so I can still use them or chucking them is the only option now? I have tried chamfering the lip but it still wouldn't chamber.
Also, these cases have a slight "dent/chipping" at the lip, likely due to me applying more pressure than needs to in an attempt to close the bolt (it didn't close).

The size difference is as follows:
.268 at the neck
.271 at the bell

The cases are Alpha 6mm Dasher
