Epic troll! We should get behind this. I mean not 'Behind' this. But encourage their gaydom!

Think what those faggots could do with a million dollars? All the 'advocacy' they could buy. Or Astroglide. Or plane tickets to Provincetown? You know... to advocate for their butt-piracy in Palestine!

I mean... getting behind this does not mean getting "Behind" this. But if we can send a few hundred over to do a "Rose Bowl" parade ending on a rooftop... what a win?

Bah hahhahahaha... Trolling turned up to 11. Because it's one more than 10!

Cheers,

Sirhr

Boomers

I can't talk about this elsewhere. Have an employee. Not doing well. I'm trying to throw him a lifeline so he can get to retirement. Give him his review, its not great, but its not bad ("I need you to change some behaviors") no PIP or coaching or anything like that.

Dude flips his lid on me. No offense but trying to stay cool and calm was not his strong point.
Tells me the conditions for him not to retire in a month. I'm a little--That's a bold strategy Cotton... (Inside I'm like Well, Bye!)

Now I know I am a mega-flame asshole in here (because I can be), but I apologize for using words like "crap" at work. I'm actually "Mister Nice" (STOP LAUGHING YOU JACKHOLES ITS TRUE!)

Who the hell after a bad review makes demands to stay employed? You guys wonder why I think people are dense as hell. I'm the person trying to help him, everyone else is scared of him..he literally bullied a professor into re-writting his review. So I knew the project he wanted, he was going to get (one of his demands) so to at least make him happy I told him he had be assigned, but I couldn't do the other 2 conditions. It was above my paygrade (Its a copout, more on that in a sec).

Dude then lectures me on how its my job to negotiate with the appropriate pay grade to get what he wants. (I'll take how to get Doc to can your ass on the spot for $1000 alex)

Actually it wasn't much of a negotiation: Convo went like this
"Hey Boss, X wants this or he retires"
"Do you care"
"Nope"
"Good let him retire, he's always pissed off anyway"

As the kids say:
I just can't even....

Vibra-tite vs. loctite

My new scope and mount is set to arrive tomorrow and the first thing I plan to do is re torque my rail and then get it mounted and thread lock everything, and possibly even thread lock the turret screws (one review showed that they might come loose, but that may have been a one off). My question though is which thread locker should I use, at first I was just planning on blue loctite but now I have discovered a new (to me) product called vibra-tite and it looks like it may have some advantages over loctite. What do you think? Is blue loctite enough or should I find some vibra-tite? If so which kind?

On a related question, the scope rings require 18 inch pounds of pressure but I had a hell of a time finding a torque wrench or driver that would actually do 18 inch pounds, all I saw were marked in 5 inch pound increments so that I could have done 15 or 20 but not 18. Finally out of frustration I just bought an old school beam style torque wrench because I can eyeball 18 (it is marked in increments of 10 with hash marks every 2.5 and also in newton meters and 2 NM is damn close to 18 inch pounds). Are their any issues using the beam style over the more modern click style?

Poor IRL performance of the 68 grain .223 BTHP

Has anybody else had any real life experience with the 223/556 68 grain BTHP? I have been reloading these pills and they are moving 2750 fps and shoot 1/2 inch groups but when used hunting varmints they are very disappointing. I have taken 5 coyotes and 3 foxes over the weekend and every one of them have needed follow up shots to get the job done humanely. All first round hits have been in the vitals. I expected a lot better results with this bullet but I think I will go back to shooting soft points after this weekend.

Remington 700 Upgrade Suggestions

I have a Remington 700 5R Gen 2 in 6.5 Creedmoor that I am approaching the point of getting the action trued and re-barreled.

A little backstory. I bought this rifle about 4 years ago on a whim thinking I would eventually get it trued and converted to a .308WIN and drop it in a McMillan A-4 stock and basically create an M40A3 inspired "Clone". I bought a Bartlein barrel blank a (11.25 twist, M24/M40 contour) shortly after I bought the rifle. A couple years ago I came across an M40A3 spec McMillan A-4 stock and dropped the barreled action in it and this is how it sits now.

I have been testing several factory loads with this rifle and have been frustrated with the lack of precision I have been experiencing. I have tried:

Federal Gold Medal 140 SMK
Federal Gold Medal 140 Berger Target Hybrid
Berger 140 Target Hybrid
Berger 144 LR Target Hybrid
Berger 153.5 LR Target Hybrid

My best grouping with this rifle has been in the 1.25MOA range. Typically, its closer to 1.5MOA. Yes, I do realize it is a factory Remington 700 shooting factory ammo, but I expected better results based on some reviews I read back when I bought the rifle.

What I need help with is trying to decide whether I should stick with 6.5CM when I re-barrel it or go ahead with changing it to 308win?

Also, any suggestions on a gunsmith to do the work?

Thanks in advance,

T

I'm a big fan of Owls personally...

1726636630774.png

Been listening to one of these guys for a few hours tonight trying to find a lady owl friend. As far as I'm concerned, I'd love for our back woods to be absolutely full of raptors and have been looking into owl/kestrel boxes I can hang in the trees there. Does anyone have any experience/success in growing a hawk/owl population in their backyard woods?

First AR10 build, what did I do wrong?

Finally put together the ar10 parts I had lying around and it work great once I got the gas block adjusted but then it started having issues ejecting and seemed to really chew up the rims.

I know the AR10 ejectors are normally pretty rough on the brass but I just want confirmation on what I've gathered from forum browsing.

Based off what I've seen it probably wasn't gassed properly, or the buffer weight was off, but weighing more towards improper gassing

1000053225.jpg

This was running it with empty casings just to test cycling, work work fine then every couple rounds it would either fail to fully pick up a round which is probably cause it doesn't have a bullet or fail to fully go into battery

Why not?

Why not let Trump win fairly and do his thing for four years? Meanwhile, they can continue working on their evil plan and unleash chaos after his term ends. How does his becoming the President again really affect them?

On the other hand, are they sacred? because:
- He will expose the new world order, covid scam, and other dark secrets of the govt.
- He will make drastic changes to all branches of the govt. To the point of starting to reform the whole system.

SOLD MPA Matrix Pro R700SA - Fully Loaded - PRS Ready

This was my match chassis for the last year. It has almost every upgrade from MPA/Grey Ops and is ready to compete right out of the box. All original parts will also come with this allowing you to play around and set it up exactly how you want. Right now I have it set up with full internal weights, full external weights, Lightweight Matrix Pro 2 Cheek and Bag Rider, and the rest of the adjustable guts pulled out of the stock to keep weight down so it will balance with zero play. The way its setup it perfectly balances with a M24/MTU barrel but if you want to run a Comp Contour or Straight Taper, just take some external weights off. There are a ton of extra grips, thumb rests and other accessories that add up to over $500 with of upgrades over a stock matrix pro. Chassis has some cerakote wear in the hot spots (arca rail, mag well, ect) but shoots perfect.

-MPA Matrix Pro RH Remington 700 Short Action in USMC Red
-Comes with 2 Short LOP Butt stocks designed for positional shooting.
-Full Internal Grey Ops Weights
-Full External Grey Ops Weights
-MPA Bag stop, cut down and blended to allow shooting off rooftops and not getting snagged on barricades.
-Matrix Pro 2 Cheekpiece and Bag Rider to reduce weight on backend
-MPA Locking Collars for cheekpiece so you can always return it to same spot after cleaning.
-Brand new Adjustable Mag Catch
-All the original parts to restore it to stock if you like.
-SS action screws

Rotating shift work - Good, bad, & ugly

Looks like I may an opportunity for a career pivot and a sizable income increase. But it will require working a rotating shift work schedule. It's been a long time since I've worked any night shifts I'm sure there are better tips and tricks since I did it last. At least I'm older and all of the kids are out of the house.

I'd be working 7 night shifts & 7 day shifts per month (3 night / 3 day / 4 night / 4 day) with 3 or 4 days off, respectfully between shifts. As challenging as it may be, the pay will be enough to allow my wife to retire early.

So...what tips and/or tricks do you have to navigate and tame this mystical beast?
Getting sleep going from nights to days and vice versa
Eating windows during night shifts
Prefered stimulants (besides coke & meth)
Supplements for sleep / daily use
Work out timing

Anything else you can think of. Even weird shit.

Thanks for your help.
