Action opinions

As the title says, I expect to get a lot of different answers for this. The shop that a lot of us use or will use for barreled actions, has started to get away from using Impact actions due to customer service/shipping issues. Now, their preferred are Lone Peak. Possibly use Kauger if someone's needs to save a couple bucks. My question is this: Impacts would be one I usually tell folks to look at. I have looked at what other competitors are using across the country, and everyone has their favorite. If there were a "Top 3" Actions here, who would they be. tia

Remember when the attorney general of the United States

Didn’t do shit about international child fuckers because his family was closely associated with a leader of one such ring ?

They wanted this memory holed but I just wanted to remind everyone - Barra father got a young epstine a job in a school and then benefited when he suddenly became a billionaire financier.
Wonder what Bondis connections are ?

SOLD SR-25 6.5CM 22” new

I was going to cerakote this FDE, I never got around to it. I’ve cleared a good bit out of the safe as I’m preparing to start a new career path soon.

Zero rounds through this. It was an upper and a lower. All the stuff that comes with the upper new is included. Everything in the photo.

D Wilson ARCA rail for URX6 included.

I also have a 7.62 QDC in FDE I used on another SR-25 that has maybe 300 rounds on it if the buyer is local to NC.

$$$$ shipped and insured.

No trades. Thanks

So fertility rates are plunging because men don’t make sammiches?

This is why these Harvard twats need to be defunded into oblivion.

Nah… if men do more housework, today’s Karen’s would squirt out kids like Pez Dispensers.

Sure Harvard moron. Thank god NPR is still on the air so someone will report this sociological blather as fact.

P.S. bet you do the dishes because you are a cuck!

Firearms WT Trade: MRAD for Giessele / Seekins / JP / LMT Gas Gun and ....

Good morning,

Have a very nice MRAD with two barrels - 26" 300 PRC in carbon fiber from proof, and 24" heavy 6.5 Creedmoor.

Also have the monopod, a few spare rails, two 6.5 CM magazines, and 300 PRC magazine.

Awesome system. But have had for two years and just do not have any place within 6 hours to really stretch its legs, and would prefer something slightly lighter and more portable to shoot more frequently. Also want to move to a gas gun.

Photos below - Optics and Atlas bipod not included. Want to trade for either:

(1) Geissele MRGG (will do gun for gun)

(2) LMT-10, JP Enterprises AR-10, or Seekins SP10M in 6.5 CM plus either optics or a midweight bolt gun in 7 PRC, 300 Win Mag, or 300 PRC.

SL8-6 For Long Range(ish)?

I have a G36C and was in the process of making a G36K. My question is, have any of you used the SL8-6 as a long range target plinker before?

I'm debating putting a low pro rail and an optic on it. But at the same time, I can sell it to get better optic or other gear for my long range rifles.

It's decision time for me bc the rifle is BNIB still. I have the g36 bolt, stock, fbi 0-1 lower all bnib too, so altogether I can get some decent glass if I sell it all.

Let me know your thoughts if you would make it a fun shooter for a couple hundred yards, or sell it to fuel the never ending hobby of long range gear. I'm really leaning towards selling it since i'm quickly gaining more interest in PRS/Long Range matches at my local range.

Ammo WTT: Boxes of 1967 Lake City M72 for Lake City Match M118 and older white box Federal Gold Medal Match

Humor me here, trying to get a box or two of older FGMM and Lake City M118 for nostalgia’s sake.

I have 4 boxes of M72 30-06 match for trade. Would trade 1:1 with boxes of M72 I have (pictured below).

And would like to get 1-2 boxes of the below (XM118 or M852 are ok as well):

SOLD WTS: M49 spotting scope early $175 OBO

Older M49 spotter. Case is rough. Scope works. I disassembled and cleaned the prisms and shimmed to hold tightly in place. Prisms are very nice, no chips or scratches. Cleaned the objective best I could. The scope is clear and focuses sharp. This is a vintage piece of gear and at 20x they are not for looking at bullet holes. This is an observation telescope. This has an early property tag. $175 OBO

Admirals heading Reserve command and Naval Special Warfare relieved suddenly.

Be interesting to find out what they were up to.

Both promoted to command in ‘24 when Biden was pretty much a drooling potato. Would have been a Pentagon move at RADM level. But those are high profile billets.

This is a big deal…

But how big or why big… I have no clue!

Seating question

Hello all,

I have a somewhat stupid question on bullet seating when seating into a compressed load. I’m noticing one bullets OG will be dead on, the next will be 8k longer, the next 4K longer and so on. I need to adjust the die to each specific round I seat. Is this due to the load being compressed slightly differently in each cartridge? Or am I missing something? All the brass is within .5k of spec, so I know it’s not that.

I used to stay away from compressed loads, but sometimes it’s unavoidable. Everything I’m loading is well within SAAMI spec. specifically 223 with 23-24.5 of N140 under a 75g BTHP.

Any tips or tricks with dealing with compressed loads would be helpful!
