Looking to try a chassis and have it narrowed down to these 2. I have felt both at comps but haven’t had much time with them or shot with them. Both felt comfortable. I preferred the thumb shelf on the Xlr over the thin ridge of the ACC.

The new policy includes access to customer data. UPS looks like it's trying to pump up their ESG score. Their version of the "discourage button". This includes non-serialized firearm parts.



WASHINGTON, D.C. -(Ammoland.com)- Last month, AmmoLand News posted about the new anti-gun policies of shipping giant UPS. Now it appears that the common carrier is stepping up its anti-gun programs.

Firearms sellers started to receive a new agreement that they must sign to ship firearms through UPS. The letter contains new provisions in addition to the requirements announced last month. The most concerning of these new regulations is that UPS requires gun companies to turn over customer data and must allow UPS access to review and examine the shipper's books and records relevant to the products being shipped upon request. The shipper must also provide UPS with invoices for any firearms-related products.

Most disturbing is that UPS has sole and unlimited discretion over what documents they can require the shippers to turn over. This new policy gives UPS the unlimited power and discretion to examine and review any customer documents related to firearms sales. The shipper also must agree to turn over any documents UPS requests within five business days or risk the termination of their shipping accounts. UPS says It will use its newfound power to audit the books to ensure compliance with its new policies.

UPS doesn't tell customers whether the shipping company will keep customer information secure. The new UPS policy grants itself sole discretion to decide what it can examine and do with the data. Most customers do not want their private information given to anyone, especially a company that has made several recent anti-gun moves, including threatening to seize legal gun parts from one Florida seller.

So Pfizer finally admits the vaccine was never tested against transmission so time to go after them now that’s it’s on record.

Whoever wants to win the republican nomination for president should explain they are going to amend the VICP (Vaccine Injury Compensation Program) and/or CICP (Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program) regulations allowing vaccine injured persons and their families to sue the drug companies with no financial caps for 100 years out. Read Newsweek article for details on these programs.

VICP (non Covid vaccines) allows individuals to make claims within three years of their first symptom. CICP (Covid vaccines) on the other hand, allows petitioners only one year from the date of vaccination.

CICP doesn't pay fees for lawyers or expert witnesses or provide awards for suffering or damages; VICP does. VICP also permits appeals all the way to the Supreme Court.

In other words, people who make claims about injuries or allergic reactions to either of the COVID-19 vaccines have less time to make their petitions than people who have filed claims for injuries from vaccines related to the measles or the flu. They also are less likely to receive compensation for injuries from COVID-19 vaccines, and if they do receive compensation, it likely will be a smaller amount.”

People are nuts and apparently when the other person lies to the insurance, it's "he said/he said" unless the evidence is compelling.

I lost an insurance argument when a guy backed up onto the hood of my car while it was parked on the street. He claimed that I drove under his car while HE was parked. My insurance did not cover damage nor did his.

"We are sad to announce the passing of Arnold W. Jewell, 85, of New Braunfels, Texas on September 30, 2022. Born on May 16, 1937 in Abilene, Texas, Arnold was the son of Vernon C. Jewell and Alma Galle Jewell.

Arnold is survived by his children, Brian C. Jewell of Austin, TX; and Lisa Woodstock of Nevada; grandsons, Wyatt W. Jewell of Austin, and Dustin Woodstock of Nevada.

In his 85 years, Arnold enjoyed a multifaceted life. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was an aeronautic mechanic from which he grew his love of flying. In 1960, upon receiving his college degree, he worked for Braniff Airlines as an airline mechanic. He then got his pilot’s license and later became a corporate pilot. In 1961, Arnold met and wed his wife of 45 years, Jeanie Frances Jewell, together having two children. Once retired from being a corporate pilot, he then pursued his love of competitive shooting sports. Arnold then invented “The Jewell Competition Trigger” along with seven other patents. He retired from his machine shop in 1999, getting to go all over the country with his countless buddies enjoying great competition and camaraderie with all his friends. Hi Guys, I wasn't sure where to post this but please feel free to move this if there is a better place. Just curious I have a rifle I am considering selling and in the past I have never had an issue (not here on other boards) selling and shipping to an FFL through UPS or Fed X- Now I see neither one permits an individual to ship directly to an FFL- I do see USPS still says they will allow rifles to be shipped to a registered FFL holder. Has anyone had any recent problems shipping through USPS? I always include my DL and copy of the FFL where it is being shipped to in the Box. I did check and my FFL is willing to ship to another FFL for $150.00 + shipping, I would rather not do this.

Also I have never had a problem using PP FF (being discreate) but last time I tried to sell something I had several members say it is illegal to use PP for any firearms or related items. I guess the other alternative is asking for a check and waiting for it to clear? then shipping- but that is a pain for both parties. Just curious what other options?

What: Unfired Tikka T3x Varmint chambered in .223 Rem, 1:8 twist, 23.7” factory barrel, blued finish. Barrel has a few marks from the vise, nothing terrible and was threaded 5/8x24 TPI by Class III Machining. A muzzle brake was attached, but is not included. You get: Factory stock and bottom “metal”, factory trigger, factory bolt, factory action, factory barrel, and Area 419 20 MOA picatinny rail. This has been dry fired and left in the safe, I had plans but I’d like to move into a Bighorn TL3 short action instead. A magazine is not included.

Shipping: Final sale price + $40. The $40 doesn’t cover shipping something this unwieldy, but I’ll take the hit for the rest. Presently shipping is kind of tricky. I’m willing to try UPS, but with the understanding that it’s likely there won’t be an insurance payout if anything happens. USPS is still legal for individuals shipping long rifles, so that will ship insured. Be sure your FFL accepts from individuals; if your FFL doesn't it’s $40 to put it on my local FFL’s books for an outbound transfer.
