Remember that F35 ramp strike video that got leaked?

Looks like some knucklehead was trying to score points with a split tail, by showing her the footage of the F35 striking the ramp. She promptly recorded the ramp strike footage on her iPhone, and shared it with other sailors or the same gender.

All told a bunch were determined to be breaking regs.

Non-judicial punishment, of course.

No names released. Pilot ID still unknown.

Why dig this up? Imagine if we get into an actual kinetic war with the bear and the panda.

Want to bet all those iphones have backdoors, plus lax attitude to security.

I may start stocking up on vodka instead of Chunky Soups... 😖

When you Stop Buying their Crap, they Notice!!

Chinese Sales of Halloween Kitsch to Western Countries Collapse
https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2022...lloween-kitsch-to-western-countries-collapse/

If the ChiComs have enough US money flowing in on Halloween garbage (yes, families with giant inflatable witches in front of your double wide… we are talking about you!)… that a slowdown merits a public statement, then it matters.

Every time you look at a product whether at WalMart or on Amazon or even at your local hardware store or general store. If it says Made in China on it, put it back. Odds are you can live without it… find an American one… make it… restore an old one, etc.

This is how you stop China which is attacking us with our own money, just like Marx Predicted!

Every time you see the label “made in China” think about that endless spam that our forum gets subjected to. That is an attack on you, personally. On your community. On our HMFWIC. Every time you see those Chinese checkers, it should be a reminder: Buy American. Or at least buy our Asian Allies: Japan, Korea and the REAL Chinese… The Taiwanese. After all Chicoms are not humans, they are Commies.

You think you can’t make a difference? Wrong. Look at the label. Win the war started by Chicoms without firing a shot. By not buying their crap.

And You will have more money for nice guns… a lower CC bill each month. Etc etc etc.

Buy Nothing Chinese. Especially not useless kitsch. It is literally giving your enemy a weapon every time you buy that crap.

Blending/fitting barrel stock channel (Tool??)

So if one were to have a McMillan CF stock which needs a little work to get the barrel channel to fit better, is there a best/better tool to use? I feel like I got the best fit at the recoil lug seat, I just don't want to have to remove/install the BA 100x to get the stock barrel channel opened up. I figured I'd get some sort of high/medium/low grit sanding block or form (or whatever) to work the stock till the fit is best. Is the $20 bill fit check still a good way to know the fit/channel along the barrel is good to go??
Thanks.

Measuring rifle kick

So, I've got a Serbu BFG-50. I want to measure a bunch of values (e.g., precision, noise, weight, bullet speed, etc.) with the gun in three scenarios: without a muzzle brake, with a muzzle brake, and with a 16" suppressor. No other reason than I'm just interested to see if my understanding and perceptions will hold up to real world testing.

For sure, I already know that I get a much bigger kick (just painful) when shooting with the suppressor versus the muzzle brake. I want to measure the differences in kickback between the three scenarios.

Anyone know of a device or contraption that would accurately measure the kick?

Selling the total package for someone looking for a plug and play (minus scope) LMT MWS setup.
- The 20" 6.5CM barrel is BRAND NEW and will come with the original plastic case. The upper receiver is also brand new and has never seen a round.

AR-15 shooting to the left?

I built an AR-15 for my uncle, and he is happy with it, but he called today and said it is hopping 6 inches left when he shoots off of sand bags? He was wondering if it is the flash suppressor. It is an A-2 birdcage. I'm gonna guess it's shooting form? I'm sure there are tons of variables, but I was wondering if there was anything gun related? He was wanting to turn the birdcage so it would put more gas out the left side to correct it. But as I said, I'm sure it's just form? Let me know what you think. Thanks

Movie Theater Shane

One of my favorite books as a kid was Shane...

About the underdog taking out the bullies. And how a gunfighter was the hero.

The movie with Alan Ladd (I know, a peter-puffer... ) is still a great flick.

Was the prototype for Clint Eastwood's Pale Rider. Which was also awesome. But Shane was still the original.

Anyhoo... was on TV today and I recorded it and am totally enjoying watching it. But the book was still inspirational as a kid. So many amazing lessons in Shane. Which, I guess, was the point of it all!

America!!!

Cheers,

75gr ELD vs 77gr RDF for tac class?

Since these 2 bullets seem to have the highest B.C. with the weight limit of 77grs has anyone compared them directly? There is plenty of data and opinions on the 75gr ELD-M and they seem to be split between great and horrible. I can't seem to find much on the 77gr RDFs in terms of accuracy and consistency over multiple lots. So I guess I'm looking on more info on the 77gr RDF.

Advice needed: Best way to sell a property?

I don't need to be hated on right now, just seeking solid advice on best way to get rid of real estate (yes, inherited) that is in less than optimal condition with consideration of pending market changes that may occur abruptly. Has anyone had luck with companies that flip ("We Buy Fugly Houses"), corporations that buy up property based on zip code or taxes vs. finding a good realtor that takes all options into consideration? Any particular corporations, situations or scenarios to avoid? Would your recommendation change based on desirability of location? I have called a few local seller's agents and so far have only had one respond back (still recent). Best tips on finding a good realtor? Monday morning quarterback hindsight experiences?

Any help sincerely appreciated!

Recommended action for 338 lapua magnum build

Hi friends,
I am looking to build a custom rifle chambered in 338 lapua magnum.

Would prefer it to be of a manageable weight so that it is practicle to carry around. Looking for recommendations on which particular action (type and manufacturer) should I go for? Budget is flexible and not much of a constraint. Would rather build something of quality and precision.

thanks for your time and attention !

Climate Protesters Glue Themselves to a Floor. Hilarity Ensues.

“Failing to plan is planning to fail.” I forget where I first saw that line. I think it was on a sign on a wall in some place I worked in college, and variations of it have appeared in countless places over the years. As ubiquitous and pedantic as it may be, the saying is true, as a group of climate protesters in Germany have discovered. And they paid the price for not thinking ahead.

On Wednesday, nine climate activists calling themselves members of Scientist Rebellion broke into the Autostadt Museum, in Wolfsburg, Germany, across the street from the Volkswagen plant. According to the Daily Mail, They proceeded to super glue their hands to the floor of the Porsche exhibit because you know, all of the cool activists are gluing themselves to things these days.

One may assume that they would sit until Volkswagen agreed to lobby for decarbonization in the transportation industry and the German government agreed to lower the speed limit. The Blaze stated that the protesters said that Volkswagen supported their right to protest, but that apparently was as far as the company was willing to go.

For a group of people who call themselves scientists, how is it that they forgot about that little thing called biology? The human body needs to eat, drink, and, of course, relieve itself. But there they sat, amid a leftist version of the game Twister (Right hand, glue!), and as the old song goes, eat, nor drink, nor potty had they none.

They griped that they had not been given bowls into which they could urinate and defecate, and they could not order the food they wanted since people were allowed to leave the museum but not return. They had to rely on whatever Volkswagen provided. Furthermore, Volkswagen had the audacity to turn the heat and lights off. Volkswagen owns the building, and Volkswagen pays the bills. Volkswagen gets to turn the lights off if it wants.

Not that anyone really wants to know, but just how were they planning to relieve themselves into bowls with one hand glued to the floor? Did they practice that? Was there a yoga practitioner who coached them before the event? “Now, downward facing dog… breathe, let your chakras align… and don’t forget to wipe.”

Looks like none of those concerns were even considered. The demonstrators made the actual protest the number one priority. So much so that they actually forgot about number one. And, apparently, number two. It never occurred to them that while Volkswagen may have supported their right to protest, the company was never under any obligation to cater to it. One protester who said he was on a hunger strike complained of a swollen hand which he had covered in super glue. He was at a risk for blood clots and agreed to leave to seek medical help.

Of note, the most effective way to remove super glue is to dissolve it. Using acetone. Which is a petroleum product. Which is hilarious.

Shortly thereafter, the cops arrived and packed everyone off. So what was accomplished? Volkswagen got some good publicity, and the protesters pretty much “stepped in it,” so to speak. How could they avoid it? They didn’t have any bowls. And once again, these people were revealed as the true posers, charlatans, and emotional children that they are.
