I have an XTR3 usually run it on 14 to 16 for matches.. It is very rare for me to see trace in my PRS22 matches.. I was thinking of upgrading my scope but I wanted to ask if anyone else with an XTR3 can see trace? I know my eyes would have a lot to do with it and some other things environmental but before I upgraded and was disappointed I thought would ask for others experience's on here. My upgrade would be the ACTAR 7x35 because of the reticle.

So I have been looking at both binoculars and spotters for a while now. I have a few budget offerings of both all under 700. Seems like more and more precision rifle competition guys are using binos. Just wondering what the reason is. Just curious more then anything, bc I have been looking at getting a high end spotter but may consider high end binos.

I have 2 6mm GT barrels with low round counts. Both barrels were broke in and shot around 2900 fps. They both shoot sun 1/2" at 100 but I'm just sticking with my 6mm creedmoor.

26" bartlein MTU that has 300 rounds on it.

28" bartlein HV contour that has 785 rounds on it. Both barrels are cut for lone peak fuzion but have seen several people claim they we will headspace correctly on impact as well. With that said, just do you research on it.

Also have whidden sizing die and 400 pieces of alpha 6mm GT brass with 1-2 firings.

I recently aquired my unicorn M40A1 from @gregv and understand there is a lot of nuance to using the Unert/MST-100 10X scopes. Being that I don't have readily available access to ranges over 300 yards, I do most of my shooting at 100-300. I know the suggested parallax setting is either 200 or 300 yards, and I know that if set to 300 the site picture at 100 is blurry as hell (which it currently is), but my question is: If I set the parallax for say 100 or 150 (I have a Redfield Revolution Tac 3x9 on my SSA M40 that is fixed parallax at 150y and is clear at all ranges) will the site picture be blurry at further distances? 300 yards and beyond? I have not had the opportunity to go to the range to try adjusting the parallax yet, so thanks for any help in advance.

A federal appeals court has upheld a Texas law allowing users to sue social media platforms in the event of wrongful account suspension, in a win for defenders of free speech online.


The decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit means the Texas bill, which was signed into law by Gov. Greg Abbott last year, is likely to end up before the Supreme Court, which will provide a final determination on whether social media companies have a right to censor their users.

For now, that “right” of censorship has been firmly rejected by the Fifth Circuit.


“Today we reject the idea that corporations have a freewheeling First Amendment right to censor what people say,” wrote U.S. Circuit Court Judge Andrew Oldham.


Representatives of the tech giants argue that forcing them to carry certain types of speech is itself a First Amendment violation. If this argument is valid, it means the First Amendment, oddly enough, provides corporations an unlimited right to censor.


This in turn makes it possible for the government the ability to censor citizens by proxy, demanding platforms suppress certain viewpoints, as the Biden Administration did at height of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The platforms are not newspapers. Their censorship is not speech,” wrote Oldham, rejecting the platforms’ argument that they have a First Amendment right to censor.

“The implications of the platforms’ argument are staggering. On the platforms’ view, email providers, mobile phone companies, and banks could cancel the accounts of anyone who sends an email, makes a phone call, or spends money in support of a disfavored political party, candidate, or business,” continued Oldham.

If the Texas law is upheld by the Supreme Court, it will give citizens of that state — and others, which are likely to follow suit — the right to sue social media companies for the restoration of their accounts. The Texas attorney general will also be empowered to sue social media companies on users’ behalf.

OMFG... listening to the commentators and 'play by play... ' was utterly killing me! I know it's supposed to be a somber occasion and that there is a whole lot of tradition and whatnot. It's what royalty does. But it just was a riot at a certain level listening to the details...

Some excerpts, but from memory. So I may be a bit off:
