Woah... LMT & KAC quality/accuracy/performance

Well... I'll just leave this here. I completely understand this in no way used any sort of scientific method, or any method at all for that matter..? No mention of ammo used, etc...
Im kinda wondering if this was some sort of skit/troll job..,??

But then I read the comment from "vinlandwerwolf"(4th comment down at time I posted this), that claims to have worked at both.? Every YouTube comment is obviously 100% true right?

This has to be a troll right?
I mean- the USSS, 1SFOD-D/CAG, now the Royal Marines....and countless other badass sons 'a bitches use and/or have used KAC, both their small frames and large. Same goes for LMT!!

Sooo..
Parody? Or no?

FWIW- the German on here loves his 110K1, and runs it hard. I trust his word far more than this Garand Thumb dickrider in the vid!

Gunsmith for barrel chambering

I’m looking for recommendations for someone to chamber and thread a barrel for me. Local to Central Texas would be great but I don’t mind sending it off for quality work. I have a proof CF blank, needing it chambered in 7PRC, threaded for a Nanook action, and muzzle crowned and threaded. I know there’s a lot of options, I just want to hear who yall trust.

Building out new dmr

Slowly building out a new dmr. Geissele super duty upper and lower receiver, solgw lpk, geissele trigger, a5 buffer.

I really like the Geissele mk16 rail with the built in arca. Are there any other rails with machined in arca? I haven’t seen any aside from the sgt of arms .

Looking at 18” barrel (223). Heavier, but not a pig . Any recommendations? I know there are so many good barrels out there currently .

Thanks in advance.

This is excellent… the discovery on this will be superb!!!

This is going to be worth watching!!!!

Malcolm X was a great American and had he lived, would have done a Lot more for African Americans than the race-baiting, let’s-line-our-pockets scum like Jackson and Sharpton….

This is a case to follow!!!

Precision Rifle Gear Budget Tripod review.

I wanted to do a quick review on a budget tripod option I’ve been playing with. I picked up this Fanue ST65 tripod for around $250 on Amazon. Of course it’s made in China. Then again so is the device you’re likely reading this on. Along with half the items in your home. This company at least, seems to actually care about the products they are making and doing it with an eye towards the use case and with the end user in mind unlike many of the cheaper options. We are seeing this more and more from some of the manufacturers out of China. There are a few other versions of this one available as well.
This model weighs about 5lbs, has 31.75mm carbon main tubes and will handle 44lbs. The arca head is sturdy. It doesn’t blink at my 20lb rifle. I did add a touch of grease to the arca screw lock as it was dry. Throw lever on the ball is large and easy to manipulate when the rifle is mounted. Build quality seems extremely good for the price and so far has done everything I’ve asked of it. Granted I don’t shoot PRS on a regular basis and, while I can afford it, I can’t justify dumping a small fortune into a RRS or similar tripod. Most “armchair operators” like me will have a hard time justifying $1000 for a tripod. I’ve messed around with friends high end gear and this bargain of a tool gets most of the job done at a fraction of the price. Would I take it “to war”? Not likely. Will it last as long as a RRS? Not likely. But again, it’s a matter of use case. The only battle this will ever see is getting knocked around at my shooting club or the occasional local match. I believe in buy once, cry once. But even that has its limits for those of us with mortgages and kids in school. Sometimes you just need a piece of gear that gets the job done at a decent price.
A month in and so far I can’t find a fault. I’m sure if it has one it will turn out to be the twist lock mechanisms on the leg extensions. I’d assume at this price they’ll be plastic. But so far they lock positively and do not slip. The head is well machined. The anodizing is well done. And the locking lever for the ball head is simple and strong. So far. Time will tell how it holds up as a shooting platform but for now it’s sturdy, wobble free, and locks up tight as a drum. As an optics platform it feels like a fantastic option. If it craps the bed, I’ll follow up.

600 yard hunting challenge complete

I set myself a goal this year to take a deer at 600 yards with an AR rifle. To be sure it was up for the task every time I went to the range even shooting other rifles I shot 1 cold bore shot at 600 to be sure it was always consistent. I carry this rifle to 900 on a normal basis.
This morning i had my chance, 601 yards and recovered him 35 yards from impact. I was just fine with a mature doe but this guy came in today and gave me that chance. One of my favorite hunts now

Going to be building another rifle for the 2025 season and am cross shopping a few different actions and chassis to go along with the build. I just sold my AT-X and have a Zeus la that I really like for the short bolt throw, smooth action and quick change ability. Had an impact and didn’t like it enough to keep.
