I picked up a new Vudoo 360 and am still trying to tweak the feeding to avoid the jams.

I am using the KRG Bravo stock. After the first couple trips I began tweaking the stock to better hold the magazine. Currently I am having just one type of stoppage: the base of the .22 LR cartridge ends up above the twin extractors. Like it slid through the twin extractors or popped out of the lips without getting under the extractors.

I am currently at 450 rounds with a mix of Rem Eley, Wolf, Geco Rifle, Geco Semi, CCI Standard V but have settled on SK Standard + for now and that has been the last 150 rounds exclusively.

I am doing the tapping thing on the magazine trying to eliminate the nose down presentation from the mag. I seem to get the stack correct. The stoppage can be any of the rounds in the column, the first or a middle. This is off the bench so nothing to do with pressure on the magazine.

So far I moved the KRG Bravo’s forend back to where it about touches the green molded rear half of the stock and I over the trigger guard forward. Action installed back in the stock with the magazine in for alignment purposes.

Did I go too far to the rear with the forend?

Just trying to do all I can before wasting time of the Vudoo folks.

Here's a little more info on the Car-15 copy of the weapon used by Russian agent "Surf" in the Miami Vice episode entitled "Bushido". My CAR-15 is an NFA registered SBR. Unlike the CAR-15 in the Miami Vice episode, my CAR-15 has an XM-177 flash hider rather than a birdcage flash hider. The gun uses an MGW 90 round "drum" magazine with a clear acrylic back to view the round count. It has a two position metal acetate covered adjustable stock.
This was pretty cutting edge in 1984 and as you can see in the video, works pretty well. I built the Laser sight. Externally, it is a copy of the period Laser Products Corporation sight. Here is a video of me engaging targets, in late daylight, at about 35 yards using only the Laser. It's interesting how that when the Laser hit the white paint, the energy was reflected showing up very well. When the Laser hit the red paint, it's energy was absorbed resulting in a diminished visibility.

Selling this to get stuff out of the safe that doesnt get attention. Chambered in 308 Win. Barrel is a 18", 1:11 twist, stainless McGowan barrel. Custom profile is a #2 lightweight but flared at the muzzle to have plenty of meat for a 5/8x24 thread. Took it hunting one time (got skunked) and then it sat in the safe. Grabbed some ammo I reloaded for a different gun and took it to the range to put down a group for anyone who was curious on accuracy. Zero'd the scope and put down just under .75 with a cheapo 3-12. Barrel has seen ~30 rounds. Scope not included.

A few years ago I had an eye injury resulting in an inability to clearly see the red dot in my optics in bright daylight. I can see the etched reticle in my Vortex Viper just fine and in low light the red dot is good, but my department won’t let us use magnification on our rifles. The only sight I found with etched reticle, red dot and no magnification looked like something for an airsoft gun. Suggestions for a quality sight for my AR?

And at a concert venue where there were 3-4000 4K camera phones no one got a good clear video of it…….

I have an LE contract LMT MARS-HS for sale. It comes with its stock 20" 1:8 6.5 Creedmoor barrel (440 rounds Hornady 147gr TAP, 120 rounds AC58/XM1200 140gr Berger Hybrids) as well as an LMT 16" 1:11.25 .308 barrel (120 rounds AA11/AB39 118LR, approx 100 rounds of 7.62 blank). Both barrels have Dead Air keymo adapters installed by D. Wilson, one muzzle break and one flash hider style.

This gun is consistently sub moa, out performing my expectations of 1.5 MOA for a precision combat gas gun. This rifle also has been the first 6.5 gas gun I've used since my KAC 6.5 M110A3 to run 100% reliably suppressed and unsuppressed with zero changes to a gas system. I'm not an engineer but with the pressure from the cartridge and it's steep neck angle I've consistently seen guns choke up on 6.5 without changes to settings on a gas block.

I've used this rifle in training at federal law enforcement, military, and private training facilities. It has some love marks on it, the worst of which has been highlighted and is 2 scratches on the front driver side QD cup of the upper. Theres maybe 3 other spots where the finish has worn through from carrying and being handled. I would describe the condition as 85% or better. I'm fine taking more detailed photos for interested buyers.

The now, very obsolete USS Texas, the United States First Super Dreadnaught, had 14 inch, 45 Caliber guns as her main armament.

The guns fired a 1400 pound shell at 2600 FPS. The muzzle energy of those rounds was over 65,687 Foot TONS! That’ll make a white tail deer stop dead in his tracts. ELR men, she’s good for 21,000 yards.

Of course, you might want to hit the gym a bit before carrying one afield. Each tube is 54 feet long and weighs 63.3 tons. Better bulk up those muscles.

Wanting to develop a load for my .223 Wylde AR platform. I am shooting a 18” stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist. I have tried load development with 68 grains and have not had the best luck and want to try moving up to the 77 SMKs. Wanting to develop an accurate load that I can reach out and touch 5-600 yards with ease. What powders and processes have you guys used and achieved the best results with? A temp stable powder is also a pretty big plus for me also. Thanks
