Is anybody here around the Williams, AZ area? I bought a car on Bring A Trailer and I guess I forgot the trailer part as I got 60 Miles before the radiator hose blew and no hose for the car can be found today in time for somebody to put it on. We had planned our trip around bringing this beast home, seeing Grand Canyon, Petrified Forrest/Painted Desert and on back to ’Bama. I figured a few issues would be discovered; but, totally didn’t see this happening as the car has tons of records.

Issue is I cannot find a shipping company that can get to this car soon (let alone scammers); so I’m either going to have to tow the car to the dealer in Flagstaff (500 bucks after the tow last night from the South Rim Parking Lot to Williams. So I’m looking for somebody with a trailer who can help me get the car to Flagstaff or better help store the car until I can get a shipping company to pick it up.

Pushing a royal time limit after getting screwed by one shipper this morning and the shop here in Williams who said they couldn’t fix it and now demands their car be moved from the lot. Girlfriend has to be in New York this coming Tuesday. I have a rental car now after getting to flagstaff which is our current way home; but, have to do something with the the POS I bought. Already lost my ass on this one….

I have an AAC Handi-Rifle with a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 scope on it. It is the special edition that AAC did with H&R back a long time ago with a 16" barrel. It is actually noticeable shorter than an AR or bolt action with a 16" barrel because there is no action taking up space. I included a picture of it next to an AR SBR with a 10.5" barrel for scale. This is the most compact non-SBR I have ever seen. PS It originally came with a youth length stock for an even shorter overall length. I changed it out for a normal length stock from H&R to have a more comfortable LOP but will include the original youth stock with it.

It is a fun little rifle, but I hardly ever actually use it and have a few other 300 BLK rifles so putting it up for sale. I can include some load data for amusingly quite loads I've worked up for it. Ex: 90 gr XTP over Trail Boss, 180 gr over Unique, 200 gr Maker Rex for hunting, etc. I could also include some loaded ammo for an additional cost if the buyer is interested.

$300 plus actual shipping. I have a local FFL that will act as the shipping FFL for $30 if your FFL doesn't accept shipments from non-FFLs.

I currently use soft gun cases for all of my transport to/from range but have been looking into a few hard cases to have on hand as well.

While I love Pelican products, the cost for their rifle cases is just not in the budget right now.

Looking into Plano and debating between the all weather 2 or the rustrictor series.

Does anyone know anything about their rustrictor "technology"? Is it actually anything beneficial to support the price premium over the all weather? Apparently they use it in their tackle boxes as well.

I want to add that when I used the amp mate I had intermittent connection issues sometimes it would connect right away sometimes it would take a while to connect. AMP guys told me to send it in it might need a new usb port. I never did because I got rid of the ampmate and had no need for the usb port.

Annealing and Aztec worked fine and I’m the original owner

I put this together thinking I would shoot more NRL but I won’t have time for that this year so this one is hitting the road. It sits in a McMillan A10 with arca rail and pure precision M5 bottom metal (locks up well with the bergara mags). I just put a brand new firing pin and striker in there.

Will come with two mags. I thought I have a third somewhere so if I miraculously find it I’ll send it with the gun.

Had a case split in two, primer was flat like a pancake, primer pocket is .003” over the primer size.

Story. Picked up 500 rounds of “reman” ammo couple years back. Have shot few dozen rounds fine.
Went to plink some of it the other day. Had a round click no bang. Extracted it and no mark on primer, tried that same round again and same thing. Set it aside and loaded a new round, gun worked fine.
Reinserted the bad round, didn’t seat fully, hit the forward assist and it locked in, aimed at target and it fired. But didn’t cycle normally, this partial case was stovepiped in the action, the front half of case was still in the chamber.
No injury, inspected gun, all is well.

Selling my Manners MCS-TCS stock. The stock is in almost new condition. I purchased the stock last year from Altus and it’s got one trip to the range and one PRS match under its belt. I have also installed a timney calvin elite drop in 1.5lb pull trigger, has an adjustable height bipod on it, I don’t recall the exact make or height range. I will include the Giselle trigger it came with from NRC industries. Rifle was purchased, accessories purchased and all installed and has been a safe Queen. Never had a round chambered nor one in the mag. I have a few Wilson’s and they’re butter smooth, the same trigger in other AR platform rifles, I cannot speak on this exact rifle because it has not been fired but I can say my WC308 with the same trigger and thermal has been absolutely flawless and quick as well as the WC458 ham’r, again same trigger.

I am willing to ship the rifle on my dime at full asking price in a hard case, will include the pulsar charger and single battery that comes with the scope. I have the original box for the scope, the rifle was shipped in a Wilson combat soft case that I would be willing to arrange shipping for as well. I also have quite a few 6.5CM varmint shells as well as match grade ammo for some other 6.5s I have if anybody was looking for an AR platform long range shooter. Title says it all. A perfectly usable Remington 700 action with a .308 boltface that I’m parting out for a buddy. Few finish spots as shown in photos, a perfect donor to be blueprinted and coated, which is exactly what I intended to do for him but I just had a son 12 days ago and he just had one a few months back. This was on a carbon six barrel and a Stocky’s carbon stock and shot lights out for the few hundred rounds it was together. This is for the action ONLY.

I haven't come across this topic being discussed here so thought I'd start a thread on the subject. I'm personally a skeptic by all means but love a good local ghost story. For me- it's the history that builds up the reason for why an object, room, location, what have you, is 'haunted' because that's usually grounded in some part to factual history.

To start the discussion off- here's a story of my own. Decades ago when I was in High School- local legend surrounded a place called Amity Hall in Duncannon, PA. This building had so many stories surrounding it but from what I remember it was an old fashioned stop for the carriage lines at the time. Apparently being a hotel of sorts then, there was a lot of speculation of why it was shut down many years ago which conveniently checked all of the boxes for a young adolescent's mind of a place that was haunted. A defunct hotel- with murderous stories that alluded to a blood stained room, a ghost of a woman that hated men, locals that rivaled the hillbillies from the Deliverance movie, and even hellhounds that allegedly patrolled the grounds. Many a High School students tried to prove their bravery at that time by stepping foot in that building but apparently the building burnt down about 15-20 years ago.

I reckon that it's not so much the authenticity of 'ghosts' but would imagine that these type of stories perpetuate all across the country if not world and thought it'd make for a good thread sharing those local legends. Any interest?

I have a pile of small frame gas guns and I shoot them suppressed almost always. I can take a freshly cleaned gun out and shoot 80 rounds through it and the BCG, upper receiver, buffer tube, FCG are all trashed, super filthy. I have been using Shooter's Choice FP-10 for a few years now, and I am a bit of an over-oiler, I guess. Everything is gummy and black as soot. I shoot a lot of LC M193 and some IMI 77gr. and Black Hills 77 OTM. Any meaningful ways to slow down the fouling? Suppressor is a Surefire RC-2, and all guns are DI.

Wondering if they will resort to canned sunshine at some point if pushed far enough by Iran, or other enemy's they have made recently.

Ordered a primer seater and some goodies few weeks ago, seater showed backordered so I figured it’d be a bit. Looked and I saw in stock but no shipping. Called him, he looked it up and said it showed shipped, that he did it all himself and a glitch happened and he wasn’t sure how but it hadn’t. He admitted fault and was VERY apologetic and said he’d get it done asap. Within minutes he called back and asked what I might could need to throw in extra. I said no worries but he insisted. Within 30 minutes I had tracking. In a day where folks deny deny deny it was refreshing for someone to own up, apologize then go above and beyond. Folks I like giving my business and hard earned $$. Most posts share an opposite experience, I wanted to share something good.

Ok, so my 2 choices right now are the S&B 6-36 or the March 5-42 HM. My question is, has anyone got to use both ? And if so, which way would you lean ?

Just wondering what the typical engagement distance is for thermal predator hunting for most? During the day here we typically shoot them anywhere between 50 m and 200 m.

I'm trying to decide between putting a clip on in front of an LVPO or running a dedicated thermal scope. so far the YT consensus is mixed. I like the idea of a clip on for observation as well, but it seems you get better detection range with the larger dedicated set ups.
