K-Bars Small fixed blade for your daily carry?

Curious who here uses a small fixed blade as their everyday carry knife? What are the cons / issues you have ran into in doing so? What knives are you liking the most & why? I haven’t ever owned a small fixed blade to carry but I think I would like to give it a shot. I don’t want anything “tactical” or whatever, just a quality comfortable functional knife for daily use.

Sounds like California local talent is angery about losing a massive revenue stream

Can you believe that the feds whom are in charge of immigration just roll up and arrest illegals - they seem to be not taking the bribes anymore but the local talent is angry that they can’t intercede on behalf of the invaders dispute having take their money to look the other way for the last 40 years .

They many have to resort to writing more tickets and doing more civil asset forfeiture to make up the income gap.

SOLD Accuracy International ATLE AT .308 FDE (Central TX)

Hello all. I’m selling my Accuracy International ATLE 16” .308 Sniper rifle in Flat Dark Earth Color. The ATLE is an AT rifle that has the upgraded AX style stock and is only available to law enforcement. This rifle was purchased new by me from Mile High Shooting and has about 2000 rounds through it (no reloads-all factory match ammo). This one has about $500+ of extras added to include a factory AI night vision bridge/rail, full ARCA rail on the bottom, as well as an extended ARCA bipod mount. It is in excellent overall shape but does have some minor safe dings. I am an AI armorer and this rifle was completely checked a few months ago and its in perfect working order.

Also included is the factory box/manual, (3) magazines, an Armageddon Gear Precision rifle sling and a Harris bipod with the Really Right Stuff (RRS) ARCA adapter.

$4300 + actual shipping. ****SOLD PF**** I would accept partial trades in the form of a Nightforce or Leupold MK 1-8 scope. Located in the central Texas area and would be willing to drive and meet if needed. Email me at [email protected] as the PM system is not working for some reason (I’m a site supporter).

Direct thread can backs off

Any idea what a good solution would be for this? I know I could do the A419 system and it should fix it.

Crush washers are bad, is there anything else I am thinking off.

I can ughah ugahing the shit out of the can and it still comes loose after a few strings of fire. I assume thermal contraction is causing it to loosen up no matter how hard I tighten it. I really dont want to have to tac weld this can to the barrel if I dont have to.

5/8x24 barrel with a titanium dillegent defence HUB adapter mated to KGM R30K.

Alternative choice to push-button sling loops on bolt guns?

For years, we have seen even the best brands of push-button sling loops have functional issues after hard use.
The internal ball/detent is susceptible to rust, dust and sand. Even the stainless flush cups seem to get pretty jacked up with heavy use in addition to rust and corrosion leaching from the infected/affected push-button loop.

This can continue to the point that the push-button feature becomes inoperable thus either locking itself to the flush cup or alternatively not allowing a safe lockup when attaching.

In addition to the above pitfalls, your sling can become a twisted mess if you are not rocking the limited rotation feature in the flush cups.

- - - - - - - -

We all have been using HK style hardpoints on our gassers for years with none of the above issues.
I was already looking at this for bolt gun stocks and the fairly recent introduction of MagPul's Para clip made me revisit the idea due to them being quiet, quick, lockable, and non-scuff. I have been running this setup on a chassis stock for bolt gun work and have found no negatives while still retaining all the functionality of the sling utilities.

I have to acknowledge that I am a sample of one and have had limited, but positive feedback from a few that have tried it.
So. . . . I am looking for feedback from bolt gun shooters that actually still use a sling for carry or shooting stability.

I am probably going to integrate a couple of solid attach points configured to best accommodate slings with HK hooks, MASH hooks, or the Magpul Para clips on future stock designs.

Any constructive input on the Pros and Cons would be appreciated.

No wind,
T

Case Trimming when Headspace Reloading

Hello,

I wanted to try my first attempt at “bumping the shoulder” back ~0.002” when resizing fired brass rather than using the standard die instructions to size for the minimum chamber spec.

This would typically result in a longer case bottom-shoulder dimension than factory ammo by not pushing the shoulder back quite as far.

Those of you that have done this, how do you handle trimming cases? If I were to trim to the case trim length on the print, I would have a shorter neck since the shoulder is out farther. Are you guys keeping your brass just under max length and calling that good?

New Bolt Action Comp Ready Rifle on the Market.

Kelblys just brought out a PRS rifle that once they sell 50 will meet all the production requirements. If I know anything about Kelblys the fact they have over 82 confirmed world records confirms they known what they are doing and produce quality products. They are also offering 10 percent off just use the code guncon25 not positive how long that will be good but I know Gun Con is June 28th in Ohio. I attached a link direct to the Element Rifle, they have a pretty sweet setup you can build completely out with optic, brake and bipod even. I actually have one on order myself and can't wait to get my hands on it. The rebarrels are even a bit cheaper than MPA we all know of your a PRS shooter ever little bit you can save adds up. Slide on over and check them out.

SOLD Impact/Foundation/Bartlein/MDT/A419/Leupold PRS Sportsman / NRL Hunter Full build 6.5 Creed

For sale is a new rifle I pieced together over the last couple months. Rifle has 35 rounds on it, barrel not even broken in yet. I was planning to shoot PRS sportsman but I just won't have the time this year. No use having this rifle sit. No expense was spared and every part is brand new except the brake. This is a complete ready to shoot rifle that will make weight for NRL Hunter Light (12lbs without magazine) and PRS Sportsman (13 lbs with mag). With a CHAD brake( not included), it comes in at 12lbs 8 oz.

The rifle as it sits weights 11lbs 4oz.
-If you want to shoot NRL Hunter Light this lets you run a 14 oz can or brake and still make weight if you decide to not shoot the titanium brake included.
-If you want to shoot PRS Sportsman, a MDT 12 round Binder plate mag adds 8.3OZ or Non Binder is 7.3 Oz. This gives you 18 oz of wiggle room to run a can or different brake.
-You can use this as a badass hunting rifle. Printed (3) .4-5" 5 shot groups with initial barrel break in with Norma 143 Match factory ammo. This barrel actually shoots better than my 10lbs Match barrels with the same ammo, which is super impressive.

I would like to sell this as a complete rifle, as figuring out what parts and ordering/waiting on them was the hard part. This is a turn key rifle ready to compete. I don't want to part it out as that defeats the purpose.

All Parts are new except for the titanium brake:
-Impact 707R short action
-Impact .473 lightweight 75* Bolt
-Bartlein #13 Carbon Fiber 24" 1-8" 6.5 Creed Barrel with 5/24 muzzle threads (35 rounds on tube)
-Foundation Ezekiel Hybrid Stock/Chassis in Kiamichi camo inletted for Impact 737r/707r.
-MDT Precision Bottom metal with adjustable mag catch
-MDT Send it Level
-MDT Lightweight Single Pull Ckyepod with upgraded Knobs
-Trigger Tech Special 2 stage Flat set at 8oz / 8oz
-Area 419 34mm Hunt Rings, 34MM height
-Leupold Mark 4HD 6-24 PR3
-Salmon River Solutions Titanium Timed Brake
-Short Action Precision 2 round match saver

I put a little over $7K into this setup. Someone is going to get a monster deal and save some cash with a ready to compete rifle, no taxes and free shipping.

$6200 Shipped. I can also break the rifle down and ship you everything but the action if that's easier, your choice.

It’s like Alcatraz but With Gators, Snakes and Rednecks

No point in trying to reopen San Francisco’s Alcatraz… when you can do better.

Airfield deep in the Everglades, surrounded by swamps full of gators and pythons and water moccasins and, well, rednecks who think “You got a nice mouth, Jose…” will be a deportation processing facility.

DHS has approved. So now, Pedro, you get to await your due process in a tent. In the Everglades. And if you try and get off the island… well, good luck with that!

Bet after a few days, folks are begging to hurry up that due process and get them back to El Salvador!!

Need one out near Ft Huachuca, too. Scorpions, rattlers and 115 in the shade for miles in every direction is also motivational.

What did one gator say to the other gator? Not bad for Mexican food!!

Accessories WTS MDT ACC 700 Long and Woox 700 Short

I have two new in the box Woox chassis. One is a Furiosa and the other is an Exactus. Both are midnight grey and black, and fit 700 short actions. They are cut for DBM and take Badger, Hawkins, SOL, etc. The Woox website says max floating barrel size is 1.17”. I can take pics of measurements or put a barrel blank in it to see what fits.

Furiosa: Remington 700 DBM (AICS) Short Action - Clones included / Midnight Grey - $900 shipped

Exactus: Remington 700 DBM (AICS) Short Action - Clones included / Midnight Grey - $600 shipped

The MDT is an ACC Premier Gen 1 Chassis (fits 700 Long Action) with SRS-XF Skeleton Rifle Folding Stock. The mag cut is CIP 3.850". Has MDT Vertical Grip and 1 buttstock weight. I bought this to use while waiting on a McMillan. Only fired 5 rounds through the rifle when it was in this chassis. It's basically like new. The cerakote in the folding mechanism started to peel in the pinch points immediately upon trying out the folder. It's hardly noticeable and completely unavoidable, but wanted to point it out. The chassis has not been bedded. Comes with the action screws. $1125 shipped

I can take additional photos or videos if needed.

Primary trade interest is a Foundation Ezekiel in long action. Would also take one in short. Can add cash to even it up. Would also be interested in any 700 clone action with mag bolt face in short or long action.

Anything else, you are welcome to ask.
