Bridge collapses in Pittsburg - What timing

PITTSBURGH (WJW/AP) — At least 10 people were injured, but there were no reported fatalities after a two-lane bridge collapsed in Pittsburgh Friday morning.

The collapse comes hours before President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit the city to talk about the $1 trillion infrastructure bill that includes bridge maintenance.

I smell a frikkin potato-headed rat. The chances of this happening are frikkin ZERO.

Relief of College debt.

Mabey I am just pissy this morning, but this tugs at my taint. We didn't have a lot of money growing up. My pop was an enlisted man in the Air Force. I was one of those that joined the Army in the late 80's "open-contract" (read infantry). I didn't join for any noble reason-only to change my financial situation (it took being in the Army to teach me that). I took the college bonus and paid into the GI Bill. When I was in, I'd take compressed college classes at Ft Campbell when I was not in the field. Did my time in the Middle East, re-enlisted and went into a medical field. When I got out of the military, I used my GI bill, and would take classes while working full time. I didn't earn my PhD until I was in my 40's. No fucking debt, I payed that shit with sweat and service.

Blowing off $50K in college debt for these fuck-sticks is complete bullshit. I'm not going to get all that lost time back (family, play, hunting..etc). Moreover, I am not going to get a check for pay-back because I didn't suck welfare's tit.

Rant-off

ATF now going after the Amish

Talk about soft targets.

I wonder when they'll be going after the gangs of Chicago and L.A.? *crickets

ATF agents also seized at least one luxury horse carriage along with an assortment of hay rakes, hoes, shovels and wood working tools which could also be used as weapons. j/k

How do you say Lets Go Brandon! in Pennsylvania Dutch?

Effin Whores .

So I just showed up at Jefferson University Hospital to begin work up for surgery . I had taken a knee to the head training for a fight and broke a bone , inner ear . They removed my ear drum and both hammer bones due to cholesteatoma . Then they grafted a new ear drum .

So here years later . I want my hearing back . They are going to install a titanium single hammer bone . It's gonna suck as they will cut behind the ear , open up the inner ear and do the deed . First few days are not pleasant .

So I digress . I go to check in and they are charging for Two separate appointments . One for hearing test and one for the visit . WTF . Surprised the don't have a credit card slot for the elevator . Maybe pop quarters in the window to check in . Maybe a tool booth to leave the Mother Fuckin office . Greed at it's best .

Can't fuckin wait for the surgery bill .

Builders: Insulation Advice needed

8AB1EF03-BB7E-4F8A-9662-982F7049B27C.jpeg
Working on my Gun/ Reloading Man Cave. The barn has a thin insulation with vapor barrier. I plan to frame walls in and would like to add a layer of insulation likely rock wool or mineral wool. My concern is how can I ensure I am not creating a space for moisture to form by doubling the insulation? Pic of room below showing current insulation. I call it barn insulation, not sure what the correct term is. Thanks for the advice!

Firearms sales tax court rulings?

Couple gun shops I've been looking at online have banners on their home pages informing us buyers that due to "court rulings", they will now be requiring sales tax on purchases unless you have a tax exemption certificate or are buying it for resale. According to their info page, the sales tax for buyers in GA is 8%.

Anyone know what "court rulings" these might be? No doubt it's something blibberingly democrat, I expect.

I'm done with the IRS.

I can't even begin to comprehend how much of a clusterfuck this organization has become. I have amended returns that were sent in over a year ago that still haven't been addressed. At best, I get notices acknowledging receipt and indicating they need another 90 days to process the return. Clients are getting notices that their 1120 (C corporation returns) haven't been filed when they own LLCs taxed as S corps or single member LLCs/partnerships that have been chugging along for years. What the hell is this?

People are getting penalty notices for returns that were extended and/or filed before the due date. We prep penalty abatement waivers within a week (tops) and include the certified mail receipts, but the IRS takes so long to process them that their automated system puts the account in collections because they never got around to opening the damn mail.

We call in through the practitioner priority hotline and the agents that pick up (IF they pick up) have absolutely no idea what's going on. When I cite relevant sections of the tax code to explain to them why they're wrong, at least half of the time the call is magically dropped. It takes multiple calls and hours on hold to resolve simple issues, most of which are because the IRS dropped the ball.

I just had a client this morning that failed to close on a huge piece of property because the IRS had a lien posted to his account that was resolved back in 2012. Even if it wasn't resolved, the statute of limitations expired in 2018. They actually acknowledged that they screwed up, but oh well... give it a while and they'll clear it up. OK. Thanks.

TO THE FEDS LURKING ON THESE FORUMS:

Let your fellow government tit suckers know they need to get their shit together. You 'tards are about useless as a limp dick on a forehead.

End of rant. Thanks for listening. See you boys in the gulags. I'm going work on a pruno recipe tonight so that we can party in there.

literal Highway robbery

Recently I drove to Cleveland OH from Virginia. I was on the Penn. Turnpike for a total of 171 miles each way and the roads were terrible, pot holes you could lose a Volkswagen in til spring. .

I just go the E Toll for that trip.

$56.70. That highway robbery. Even the NJ Turnpike isnt that high.

Fuck the State of Pa. Ill never set foot there again and Im ordering some of those camera blockers asap.

“Hearing protection is a critical part of shooting firearms safely, but traditional methods such as plugs and muffs can be challenging to use in the field. I’ve used these models for several big game hunts in a variety of conditions, not to mention many range sessions and they have impressed me at every turn. I am confident they will impress you, too.” John Nosler, President.

Help with replacing my well pump please

I have a shallow well jet pump for my house. Unfortunately, it has been showing signs of going out and I need a new one. It has been getting a LOT of air in it and has basically stopped pumping effectively. It is a craftsman, which is a bummer because I can't go out and buy a direct replacement. Have any of you done this before and I'd so, is there any rocket surgery involved or is it pretty straightforward?

Thanks

A Defendant's Word Is Now Factual Evidence

Anyone who followed the trial of Theodore Edgecomb knows EXACTLY where I'm going with this. If not, then long story short he was found guilty of 1st degree reckless homicide. The problem is that 4 fucking witnesses testified that they saw Edgecomb raise the gun, extend his arm, and fire at the vitcim's face. However, Edgecomb took the stand and gave a bullshit story that the gun went off by itself. Totally contradicting what the 4 witnesses testified to.

I swear this fucking racial bullshit in the justice system is making an already fucked up system even worse!
