Wasn't I supposed to have been lectured with doom and gloom by Captain Potatohead on Tuesday?

It's Wednesday. Now, I was out most of the day and at night shooting in the dark and all, but I seem to remember that Captain POTATUS was supposed to have his drooling ass wheeled out in front of everyone to read a bunch of doom, gloom, omicron and threatening bullshit off a teleprompter at us.

I remember this because last week, that soulless ginger cunt with absolutely zero redeeming qualities to the point that she'd still be a virgin after being locked up in a men's prison, kept saying that on Tuesday everyone that did not take the vaccine would have new things happening or whatever.

Well it's Wednesday. What's up?

recommend me a single stage trigger for carbine use

I'm looking for a good single stage trigger for an Ar15. I'm not looking for a super light trigger pull as this will be going on carbines. I'm looking for a relatively short trigger press, a short strong reset, and reliability if/when dirty. Two-stage triggers don't meet the first two criteria. I have a few SSA-E and Larue MBT two stage triggers that I am moving away from for carbine use but would still appreciate an upgrade from polished mil-spec triggers.

Are drop in triggers as reliable as the more standard mil-spec trigger designs? If reliablity is there then I would consider drop in as well.

New Bushnell Forge "Secret" Option

I have been a Leupold owner for most of my life (also still have some classic Redfield). Most recently I have the VX-3i. I always thought of Bushnell as a budget brand (think childhood 22). Earlier this year I picked up a Bushnell DMR II on sale for $600ish on Midway and really fell in love with the quality, glass and turrets. I like it so much, it replaced a Vortex PST Gen II. I am now a believer in the higher end Bushnell scopes.

There are some new great scopes for a bargain price from Bushnell which were originally designed for the European market. These are the new Bushnell Forge from South Korea. Recent Bushnell Forge scopes available in the US were Chinese scopes with 30 MM tubes however some earlier ones were reportedly made in South Korea. These also had 30MM tubes. They have received good reviews overall. The Korean Forge scopes come with 34MM tubes and ED Prime Glass. This is the same glass found in their DMR III optics. The optical quality is excellent and beats the pants off the Vortex Viper PSTs and the Chinese Forge scopes. The turrets and zero stops are also great. The one thing of note is the turrets are marked in CM rather than MIL. This really isn't an issue since the measure the same. I bought the Forge 2-16x50, there is also a 3-24x56 and a 1-8x30. The scope offers an Germin 4i reticle which is illuminated. They can be bought on ebay for $549 the Bushnell site offers the 1-8x30 as well. You can identify them as they are the only Bushnell Forge scopes with the German 4i reticle and the 34MM tubes and an amazing 8x power range.

Took it to the range today for the first time and it shot and tracked well. The glass is crystal clear edge to edge. Nice scope.

SOLD 11" HK MR223 RAL8000

Hello,

I'm looking to sell my 11" HK MR223 in RAL8000. This was purchased last year when AU imported them. My example is setup like the HK416A5 currently used by Portuguese SOF. I have only put 30 rounds through it, all suppressed.

I'm looking to get $9000 o.b.o for it. At that price point I will include the BUIS and vert grip. Suppressor is not included and will not be sold. I am open to selling it with the PEQ 16 and Aimpoint however. Sorry but I do not have the HKey rail that they originally shipped with.

Optics WTS: Nightforce NX8 2.5-20 Mil-XT

I bought this with the intention of building a rifle that life in got in the way of. I mounted it on a gas gun for a while and only fired half a mag before I stumbled across a solid deal on a 1-10. Everything that came with it is there except for the front scope cover, which I lost in knee high prairie grass. The Larue mount comes with it. $1500 and I will ship it to you. No trades, please. Thanks!

Optics (WTS) Zero Compromise Optic 5-27 MPCT 2 Reticle Mil (MD)

Hey All,
Selling my Zero Compromise Optic 5-27. It’s mil with the MPCT 2 reticle. It was my gamer last year and it has one ding on the objective bell (shown in pics) but otherwise it’s mint. Glass is perfect as shown in the pictures. Has never let me down! Great scope, only selling bc I got the new 3x reticle.

$3300 + shipping, buyer covers cost of shipping, it’s gonna be expensive to ship insured from my area. So I’m also willing to meet 1/2 with someone within a few hours.

Please pm for any questions.

Identify This Remington 700

Just picked this up from a dealer in TX. It looks like it could be a department or agency trade or turn in. Dealer says they are unable to provide any background on it. Don’t suppose anyone knows what organization or group this may have belonged to, if it even has any significance at all? FYI, it has an E prefix action.

I’m thinking either:
A. Some random dude’s everyday truck/field gun
B. Some local or state department or agency trade or turn-in
C. A super secret squirrel ninja three-letter-you-never-saw-me-agency million meter sniper laser, which is why the dealer is unable to release that information.

You MFer....

Wife sent me on another mission.....I need to get back to work and stop this shit.

Was supposed to go over to the rental property and set up a heater in the garage for the painters to paint in a warm space.

This is the heater...

Must have been the early days of having China build our shit as it's actually made pretty sweet but the fan has become coated with waxes or oils through age and sitting. Needs to be cleaned and cleared.

Took all the Phillips screws out than found these cocksuckers....l

image.jpg

Triangle safety screws.

I used an Allen and got probably 6 of 8 to loosen. Been soaking them in Kroil and will try again on the stubborn ones.

Who the fuck is going to tell me it's unsafe to work on electrical shit by installing bullshit hardware?

Might have to try a reverse drill easy out and will replace everything with Phillips or slotted when done.

Bastards.
