Thinking through in my head when I'd grab the MS versus the LR instead. Not sure of a scenario when/where I would, but probably not thinking through everything. Anyone have both, and if you do, when/why do you use the MS versus the LR?

I'm ordering a Defiance Ruckus and it has many options for bolt fluting (i.e., none, shallow, standard, deep, extra deep, and diamond which is basically standard left plus standard right).

Does bolt fluting have any appreciable impact on the smoothness of the bolt travel? If so, what fluting would you recommend?

What are your experiences in this regard? I've found information on eye fatigue, but not much on short & long term effects of staying for hours in prone position.

I put 300 rounds through it, no marks/scratches anywhere on the gun except for the deflector. Rifle comes complete with all accessories & case just the way I received it, one mag. I’m the original owner.
