Built a AR10 from Aero parts and BA barrel AGB five years ago, in 6.5 CM. Ammo Hornady 147 gr ELD. Only good part was the
blem Geissele trigger. And a NF SHV. Its a 1k yard gun if the shooter gets it right. The pita part was getting the fucking thing to cycle and eject
consistently which it does. Now it is getting a 7.62 barrel and see.

I had no intention of ever being a FB'er but when I worked in the firearms industry most all my dealers used it for promotional announcements. Once I retired and FB clamped down on the gun shops I could have left it but, by then, too many out of town cousins and friends were on there as friends and I just left it running.
Honestly, as successful as the Vudoo has been in the past, I see @RAVAGE88 not having to rely on it for too long as word will get out quickly that he is in business.

Bore diameter vs charge weight, pressure, velocity, powder type, and rate of fire. Bearing surface length of the bullet was also discussed recently, and some subscribe to that too.

A .308 barrel with 168gr bullet at 2,700 FPS is going to outlast almost every popular cartridge out there. I wouldn't even start to worry until you were at least 5K rounds in, and you'll probably get a lot more than that before it is shot out.

"Improve performance" contradicts "minimize wear". The harder you run something, the faster it will wear.

As said above; barrels are consumables. Enjoy the ride, and replace when necessary.

it does seem on here and everywhere i have looked that it is a hope to get lucky deal. there are several other expensive rifle brands that i have heard the same about and have had some experience myself.
weight is my main concern. have looked at the Armalite above,PSA and a local outfit called CORE. anybody got hands on with any of those,esp in FL?

The 100 concepts are not particularly quiet. At least, not how I have mine set up. The cap scrapes and knocks against the scope body as I open or close it, and makes a hollow clattering sound. Not a big deal for my use, but louder than a butler creek flip cap.

And, I have never had a problem with rain using butler flip caps either.

The data entry is going well to get everyone plugged into my bookkeeping software and as I've read every email, it's funny that all three people still using AOL have emailed me.

As one can imagine, I've sifted through a lot of information in your emails, but I don't have all the info I need to discern who has what generation of action. So, DON'T do anything right now, but what can be expected next is an email from me (mass email style), where I'll simply ask, "What generation action do you have?" If you know the answer to this, simply reply with "Gen X" in the subject line. If you have a single shot, simply put "V22S". In the body of the email, please provide your full name, address and phone number. Please do not write anything else, anywhere else.

For those of you that do not know what generation you have, please see the pictures below. The easiest way to tell is by the bolt release, and for the Gen 1 and Gen 1.2, the cocking piece and bolt shroud are different.

Once I have the info, I'll organize a few details and keep moving forward. Also, when appropriate, I'll be accepting payments using the CASH App, which keeps me off the phone and provides some small level of "automation" for the process.

FWIW, and having been a sci-fi fan since the mid-70s, I think most UFOs are experimental aircraft. Having grown up around the military, I got to know about the SR-71 Blackbird before public information release which, of course, does not detail all the capabilities of the aircraft.

So, also, look at drones. Or even Harrier craft. Those didn't just jump off the line ready to go. I am not against the idea of aliens surveiling us and they may very well be doing that.

But I also know that humans are sneaky bastards.

Ghosts do exist. At a time in my life when I did not have any room for religion or thoughts of faith, I have been visited by people close to me who were deceased. One was a friend who was murdered. The other one was my first wife. And these were singular visits. They visited to comfort me and to say goodbye and then left, never to return, on to the next stage of whatever.

If it happened all the time, I would consider it to be a recurring hallucination.

I've had several of those visits. My father, grandmother, and an old friend.

I usually dont talk about them because those who havent had them are unable to accept the truth.
