Aero Solus 4th of July Sale

I’ve got a couple of solus actions with proof barrels. For the price, it’s worth the wait. The tolerances are pretty damn amazing.

I just pulled glass off a 6CM solus and put it on my 6 Dasher solus. Both actions have proof prefits.

Same slots on the rail since I have the lop identical.

I had to come up with.1 mil to rezero. That’s some pretty freakin tight tolerances from aero, proof, and warne.
Judging from the pictures it looks like Warwick Tactical makes the Solus action for Aero- just my deduction from PVA’s FFTC sale thread. This would explain why the tolerances are tight.

Any mountain bikers out there 2.0

I’m pretty sure shifting under load has been worked out by this version

And your list of consumables per year is exactly why I’m looking at this. Even doing my own work that stuff adds up to the cost of a gearbox pretty quick. The Gates belts last essentially forever and the only maintenance the Pinion needs is an oil change every 10,000 miles

I’m not a cross country rider tracking weight by the gram so the weight isn’t that relevant. It’s also on the lowest, most central part of the bike where it will be less noticeable

I’ve actually built this already in my head. The bike clanging around my noggin is one of the unbranded Chiner titanium hardtail frames with some sort of mid-grade build. Then trickle in various carbon fiber and titanium pieces/hardware as funds allow
All valid points. If the shifting is improved or isn’t a factor for your use case a gear box drivetrain, Pinion or whom ever, can be a very solid system. If you do build it please post up the details and pics. I love all bikes, I am looking forward to it!
